An Efficient Approach for Secure Storage, Search using AES in Cloud Storage

International Journal of Engineering & Technology, 2018

The expanded rate of development and adaption of distributed computing, day by day, more delicate data is being brought together onto the cloud. For the security of profitable data, the information must be encoded before externalization. The current inquiry procedures enable the client to seek over encoded information utilizing keyword yet these methods represent just correct hunt. There is no resilience for grammatical errors and organization irregularities which are typical client conduct. This makes compelling information stockpiling and use an exceptionally difficult errand, providing client seeking extremely baffling and wasteful. In this paper, we concentrate on secure capacity utilizing Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) and data recovery by performing Fuzzysearch on information which is scrambled while transferring on the cloud. We are proposing the execution of a progressed Fuzzykeywordtechnique called the Wildcard based procedures which restores the coordinating records wh...

SMART CLOUD FILE RETRIEVAL USING SEARCHABLE CIPHERTEXT KEYWORDS & ACCESS CONTROL ON INDEX

Cloud Storage becomes more popular and many corporate, government organizations, share their data in public cloud which are semi-trusted cloud storage. Public cloud storages are hack able and data can be leak out, so we need a system where the files are encrypted and then stored in cloud. If the volume of the files is large then system need search engine to retrieve the file, in-turn search engine need keyword index for the fast performance. There may be a chance for the intruder to get the details of the files through unencrypted index keywords, So in proposed system index keywords are undergo hashing technique and cipher text are stored in index. This system will encrypt the file and encode the index keywords which give double production to the data in cloud. Further to the data security this system has access control system. At present ABE (Attribute Based Encryption) & IBE (Identity based Encryption) are used for the file access control in cloud which requires more processing time and calculations. Proposed system uses a new technique where Access Control is included in search index keywords, which require less computation and quick retrieval.

Keyword Search System in Cloud Computing

2021

While several data owners have moved their data to cloud storage to facilitate multiprocessing, confidential and sensitive data must first be encrypted before being processed in the cloud. Keyword search over encrypted data is critical in cloud computing. To prevent unauthorised data access in a multi-owner scheme, finegrained access control is required. The hidden key is sometimes misplaced by registered owners for a fee. As a result, locating and revoking the malicious user who is exploiting the secret key must be completed as quickly as possible. In this article, we present a search method with a free and verifiable outsourced decryption based on multiple keywords. Keyword search increases system effectiveness when files are returned if the user's search input matches the predefined keywords precisely. Our solution is to extract the keywords, encrypt them and add them to the index. Instead of store a file and the searchable index into the cloud, the proposed approach would sa...

searching encrypted data on cloud

Encryption is an optimistic way to preserve the secrecy of the outsource data. On other hand, performing search operation on encrypted data is a complicated job. A lot of encryption techniques have been suggested by researchers to avoid improper usage of unstructured data on the cloud. But still by using the existing searchable encryption techniques, searching data on cloud server becomes difficult. In this paper, Data Encryption on cloud as well as corresponding security issues has been addressed. The proposed method incorporates two main phases: indexing and searching. Trapdoor and codeword are the two security parameters applicable in this technique. Simulated results demonstrate that it provides fast and efficient ranking sentence search for unstructured data in original documents on cloud server. The proposed technique reduces the overhead of decryption thereby minimizing the search time to a considerable extent.

Implementation of Fuzzy Keyword Search Using Encryption & Decryption over Cloud Computing

Imperial journal of interdisciplinary research, 2017

With the increased rate of growth and adaption of cloud computing, daily, more and more sensitive information is being centralized onto the cloud. For the protection of valuable information, the data must be encrypted before externalization. The existing search techniques allow the user to search over encrypted data using keywords but these techniques account for only exact search. There is no tolerance for typos and format inconsistencies which are normal user behaviour. This makes effective data storage and utilization a very challenging task, supplying user searching very frustrating and inefficient. In this paper, we focus on secure storage using Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) and information retrieval by performing fuzzy keyword search on data which is encrypted while uploading on the cloud. We are proposing the implementation of an advanced fuzzy keyword search mechanism called the Wildcard based techniques which returns the matching files when users searching inputs precisely match the predefined keywords or the closest possible matching files based on similarity keyword semantics when exact match fails. In the proposed solution, we utilize edit distance to quantify keywords similarity and develop an efficient techniques for constructing fuzzy keyword sets, which focus on reducing the storage and representation aloft.

Secure and privacy preserving keyword searching for cloud storage services

Journal of Network and Computer Applications, 2012

Cloud storage services enable users to remotely access data in a cloud anytime and anywhere, using any device, in a pay-as-you-go manner. Moving data into a cloud offers great convenience to users since they do not have to care about the large capital investment in both the deployment and management of the hardware infrastructures. However, allowing a cloud service provider (CSP), whose purpose is mainly for making a profit, to take the custody of sensitive data, raises underlying security and privacy issues. To keep user data confidential against an untrusted CSP, a natural way is to apply cryptographic approaches, by disclosing the data decryption key only to authorized users. However, when a user wants to retrieve files containing certain keywords using a thin client, the adopted encryption system should not only support keyword searching over encrypted data, but also provide high performance. In this paper, we investigate the characteristics of cloud storage services and propose a secure and privacy preserving keyword searching (SPKS) scheme, which allows the CSP to participate in the decipherment, and to return only files containing certain keywords specified by the users, so as to reduce both the computational and communication overhead in decryption for users, on the condition of preserving user data privacy and user querying privacy. Performance analysis shows that the SPKS scheme is applicable to a cloud environment.

Encrypted Phrase Search in the Cloud Storage

International Journal for Research in Applied Science and Engineering Technology, 2018

This study has been undertaken to investigate solutions to search over encrypted documents stored on cloud servers. There are a number of searchable encryption schemes that allow secure conjunctive keyword searches over encrypted data but not able to achieve much improved storage and computational cost. In this paper, we present a phrase search technique based on Bloom filters that is faster than existing solutions, with better storage and computational cost. Our scheme can be summarized as the use of multiple n-gram Bloom filters, to provide conjunctive keyword search and phrase search.

A Survey on Searchable Symmetric Encryption and Approach for Multi-Keyword Search Over Encrypted Data on Cloud Server

IJCSMC, 2019

Now a days, cloud computing has evolved as an important paradigm for IT industry with reduced cost, pay as you use, scalability, easy accessibility and improved flexibility. In a cloud environment client data can reside in any corner of the world as maintained and controlled outside their reach. So, there can be security and privacy issue with the client data. To ensure the privacy of data over cloud it is good to outsource the data in a encrypted format. Encryption of data works quite pretty good with single data owner. But single owner scheme restrict the scalability of system which is not useful. So multiple data owners can outsources and access the data securely with encryption. While retrieving such encrypted data searchable symmetric Encryption technique is used which will be reviewed deeply in this paper. To increase usability of system, it is good to allow multi-keyword query search which leads to accuracy in result and ranked search result gives systematic view to the fetched result over encrypted data. Note that, retrieving the data privacy preservation is main issue. To achieve this some novel protocols are discussed in this survey paper.

A STUDY ON CLOUD BASED ENCRYPTED DATA USING MULTI-KEYWORD RANKED SEARCH SCHEME

Cloud computing is completely internet-based approaches where all data's and files are shared on a cloud. Data ownership in the cloud with increasing performance and range of offering, more and more enterprises is opting to take their services into the cloud. They are motivated to outsource their complex data management systems from local sites to commercial public cloud for more flexibility and economic savings. To protect the data privacy, cloud providers to build services that protect integrity of systems and the data itself. The perceptive data has to be encrypted before outsourcing for privacy, in which data utilization based on plaintext keyword search. To enable the data encryption in cloud, multi keyword search scheme is proposed. Related works on searchable encryption focus on single keyword search or Boolean keyword search, and rarely differentiate the search results. In this paper, we proposed cloud based multi keyword search and privacy requirement for secure cloud data.
