All organizations are set up to achieve expected goals. These goals can be fully achieved with the optimal utilization of available resources like manpower, materials, machines and money. It is worthy to note that employee, which is a resource for any organization plays an important role of harnessing all other resources. It is in line with this, that scholars have sought to understand the ways in which the efficiency of employee‘s performance can be bolstered overtime due to their germane nature (Olajide, 2014). The role of employees in an organization cannot be overemphasized, as increased organizational efficiency can be achieved if there is proper management and equality of the workforce which would subsequently increase profitability. The main aim of this study is to examine the effect of Discrimination on Employee Performance in Demsa Local Government Area. The specific objectives for this study are; to examine the effect of physical discrimination on employee’s performance in Demsa Local Government Area, to analyse the effect age discrimination on employee’s performance in Demsa Local Government Area, and to assess the effect gender discrimination on employee’s performance in Demsa Local Government Area. The population of this study was made up of six hundred and fifty nine (659) staff of Demsa local government. The study was conducted using survey research design, where a sample of the population was used to represent the whole target population and the finding of the sample was used to make generalizations on the target population. The method of sample used is simple random sampling, the selected sample size and the number of sample used are two hundred (200) staff in the local government secretariat. The research finds out that there is gender discrimination in their in Demsa Local Government Area. Research also finds out that gender discrimination has effects on employee performance in Demsa Local Government Area. Research also finds out that age discrimination has effect on employee performance in Demsa Local Government Area. Research finds out that physical discrimination affects employee performance in Demsa Local Government Area.
