This study explores the ancient numerical systems of the Canary Islands, focusing on the unique characteristics and influences observed in Canarian numerals. It traces the historical context and usage of numbers among the Canarian populations, particularly during the 14th to 15th centuries, when they thrived in a relatively isolated environment. The paper identifies and analyzes three lists of Canarian numerals, comparing them to Berber and Arabian numeral systems, while highlighting the cultural implications of these numerical methods within Canarian society.
