With the growth of public awareness for environmental protection, green production was raised as an important issue for each producer, which will guarantee its activity in long term. Creating suppliers, performance assessment system is so necessary and important that it measures suitability of the suppliers for long-term cooperation with the company. Many activities have been performed for selection of the suppliers but those who pay attention to environmental issues, social responsibility of the organizations, and compatibility with the environment are limited. In this study, we seek to present a framework for assessment of the green suppliers with accountability components of the organizations regarding society which considers cost issues for the selection of suppliers and their responsibilities toward society and the surrounding world. This study was done to Identify and ranking key indicators performance of Green Supply Chain Using combinational method DEMATEL and ANP with fuzzy approach so that developing Green Supply Chain in industry in Iran can be achieved .First, definitions of performance of Green Supply Chain and its importance then, research method and findings analysis as well as research results will be discussed.
Increasing pressures and stringent environmental regulations and increased public awareness against environmental impacts in developing countries have caused companies to try increasing environmental sustainability activities and forced them to choose suitable suppliers to reduce environmental risks in supply chain management. Many management practices that contribute to improving a firm's environmental performance are developed in the area of logistics. According to high impacts of logistics management, the aim of this paper is using the fuzzy DEMATEL method to examine the influential logistical criteria of green supply chains, because the nature of supplier selection in green supply chains is a complex multi-criteria problem. Logistics factors in GSCM are categorized in 5 main criteria as: procurement logistics, production logistics, distribution logistics, disposal logistics, and reverse logistics.

Despite the immense number of papers on green supply chain practices, proposing the most important practices of green supply chain management (GSCM) is less investigated. Consequently, this study aims to provide an incorporated process to find and rank the most important practices of green supply chain management (GSCM) for an empirical case study of Zanjan Sepehr Khodro (SKZ). Firstly, a systematic literature review is conducted to find the major practices of green supply chain management (GSCM). Next, three practices with their sub-criteria have been selected based on their frequency of application. These practices are then categorized based on the major perspectives of green supply chain management (GSCM). Finally, A Fuzzy TOPSIS methodology is applied to rank the green supply chain management (GSCM) practices and find their importance level in corresponding company. According to the results, the final rankings of practices are green recycling, green purchasing and green warehousing respectively. Introduction Today's competitive business environment has imposed many firms to concentrate on supply chain management to earn a competitive advantage. During recent years, green supply chain in the whole supply chain study has become a key strategic topic and thoughtfulness. Regarding the raising global understanding of environmental protection and the corresponding growing regulations, green design, green production, green purchasing, green warehousing, green transportation and the green recycling have become important issues for firms to acquire sustainability [1]. Green supply chain management is a proactive approach to enhance products environmental performance and take into account the environmental regulations requirements as well [2]. Environmentally sustainable issues are getting interested among the companies which are improving their practices in the supply chain management increasingly. Despite the fact environmental regulations and legislation are forcing firms to consider these issues, still, green issues are new and there is a great need to be studied continuously [3]. The main objective of this paper is to propose comprehensive and important practices to evaluate the GSCM practitioners using fuzzy TOPSIS. Meanwhile, according to the following literature, there is no study in the area of GSCM framework applying TOPSIS in fuzzy environment. Hence, this is the first research trying to utilize this technique to inspect green practices. The contribution of this paper is briefed as follow: the study has submitted more important green practices based on literature and an expert team for motorcycle manufacturing companies. The most important practices have been highlighted by the applied technique named TOPSIS fuzzy. The rest of this paper is founded as follows. The next section is an overview of GSCM literature. During this section, the study will attempt to draw 20 sub-criteria which are more important indicators and categorize them into 6 categories. Each of categories cover most important practices named green practices. In Section 3, fuzzy sets, fuzzy numbers and the applied methodology are explained. Research methodology and the practical case study are elaborately explained at next section. In Section 5, results and discussions are submitted Finally, in Section 6, conclusions and outlines for future studies are clarified.

Green Supply Chain Management (GSCM) predicates minimizing or preferably eliminating negative effects of supply chain operations on the environment. Companies have to enhance their capability on GSCM activities based on not only emerging environmental regulations but also enthusiastic politics of the companies about environmental practices. GSCM requires multi-dimensional approaches, thus multi-criteria decision making (MCDM) techniques should be implemented while evaluating GSCM performance of companies. Moreover, fuzzy group decision making methods should be implemented in order to seek solutions for vague and complex multi-attribute problems in fuzzy environment. In this study, a model based on integrated fuzzy MCDM methods is proposed for evaluating GSCM performance of companies in terms of green design, green purchasing, green transformation, green logistics and reverse logistics. The cause and effect interrelationship amongst GSCM dimensions is figured out using fuzzy DEMATEL method. Then, based on this interrelationship, fuzzy ANP method is implemented for calculating the weights of the related criteria. Finally, fuzzy TOPSIS method is applied by using the weights obtained from fuzzy ANP method, for evaluating and ranking the GSCM performance of alternative companies.
Strategic Environmental Practices Model for Green Supply Chain Management Using the Dematel Method

Environmental practices in the supply chain is a key strategic evaluation in green supply chain management (GSCM). Thus, it is very important for manufacturers to understand the role of each factor and the relationship between them to effectively implement GSCM. A lack of understanding of these factors can potentially make it more difficult to adopt GSCM practices. Using the multicriteria decision-making (MCDM) technique, the evaluation of the decision-making processes can potentially improve the successful implementation of GSCM. Through MCDM, the priority of the elements in GSCM that contributes to the establishment of strategic environmental practices have been identified based on the data gathered from seven experts. Next, by using the Decision-Making Trial and Evaluation Laboratory (DEMATEL) method, a causal model was developed. In this model, each element was prioritised based on the cause and effect analysed. The findings reveal that activities, such as packaging recycling, process optimisation to reduce solid waste, and the use of environmentally friendly raw materials, are critical factors that must be prioritised.
Fuzzy DEMATEL-based green supply chain management performance: Application in cement industry
Purpose -Performance assessment of green supply chain management (GSCM) requires a systematic approach because of its interdisciplinary and multi-objective nature. The purpose of this paper is to propose a model to the performance assessment of GSCM. Design/methodology/approach -A model is proposed, grounded on a literature review on GSCM performance, after which the causal relationships and prioritization of the sub-criteria are analyzed by fuzzy Decision Making Trial and Evaluation Laboratory technique in a company operating in the cement industry. Findings -An integrated holistic performance assessment model incorporating specifically six criteria and 21 sub-criteria is applied, which represents causal relationships and prioritization of sub-criteria.
Application of fuzzy VIKOR for evaluation of green supply chain management practices
Environmentally sustainable activities have received an increasing interest among the firms to improve their practices in the supply chain. Although environmental regulations force firms consider these issues, but, green issues are new, evolving every day, and requires a continuous study in the field to gain a complete understanding of the problems. In this study, we illustrate the case of a laptop manufacturer in Malaysia that pursues to evaluate green supply chain management (GSCM) indicators among its practitioners. This paper develops a quantitative evaluation model to measure the uncertainty of GSCM activities and applies an approach based on Vlsekriterijumska Optimizacija I Kompromisno Resenje (VIKOR) method which is an extension of intuitionistic fuzzy environment aiming to solve the green multi-criteria decision making (GMCDM) problem. The triangular fuzzy numbers (TFNs) were used to handle imprecise numerical quantities. Then, a hierarchical multiple criteria decision making (MCDM) model was proposed based on fuzzy sets theory and VIKOR method to deal with the problem. The results show the alternative ranks of the four evaluated companies which was based on their performance in GSCM initiatives. The results also indicated that the main criteria of the research ranked as follows respectively: eco-design, green production, green purchasing, green recycling, green transportation and green warehousing. Finally, a comparative analysis of results by fuzzy VIKOR is presented. Additionally the scope for future studies is provided at the end of the paper.

Due to the challenges in increasing environmental consciousness, green supplier evaluation and selection has become an emerging issue. The objective of this paper is to propose a method for the evaluation and selection of green suppliers through an example in the Thai tire rubber industry. This study identifies seven key environmental criteria for assessing and selecting green suppliers in industry and introduces a successful implementation of Green supply chain management practices (GSCMP). The criteria have been sourced through extensive literature research and interviews with ten practicing industrial experts. The proposed methodology uses a Fuzzy Analytic Hierarchy Process (Fuzzy AHP) framework to weight the criteria and select the supplier with the best set of environmental performances. Understanding different aspects of sustainability, supply chain management (SCM), and decision making policies and relating them to performance measurement have been increasingly investigated in the last decade. In contrast to traditional SCM, which typically focuses on economic and financial business performance, sustainable SCM (SSCM) is characterized by explicit integration of environmental or social objectives which extend the economic dimension. For evaluating the sustainability of SCM as well as its greenness, we have to consider many and different index and criteria. One of the best tools for assessing the SSCM and GSCM is multicriteria decision making (MCDM) techniques. Many studies have been conducted in this area. Moreover, there are many uncertainty factors which may reduce the accuracy of MCDM result. Actually, Uncertainty is always a worsening factor in any decision support models, and dilutes the planned objectives of such models. For decreasing this uncertainty, fuzzy logic has been combined with MCDM approach. In fact, the main purpose of this chapter is considering the recent studies in area of SSCM and GSCM regarding to applications of fuzzy MCDM techniques. At the end of this chapter, based on out investigations in applications of fuzzy MCDM in SSCM and GSCM and regarding to research gaps, some suggestions for future studies have been proposed.
An exploration of green supply chain practices and performances in an automotive industry

During recent years, the natural environment has become a challenging topic that business organizations must consider due to the economic and ecological impacts and increasing awareness of environment protection. Globalization and the increased number of countries entering the World Trade Organization (WTO) have promoted green supply chain management (GSCM) practices in manufacturing organizations. GSCM has emerged as an important organizational philosophy and a proactive approach to reduce environmental risks. Increasing pressures such as stricter regulations, increased community, and consumer pressures, and the developing country's aim to enter the WTO have caused automotive supply chain managers to consider and to implement GSCM practices to improve both their economic and environmental performances. This paper explores the practices and performances of the GSCM based on the GSCM literature, and it considers the relationship between green supply chain practices (initiatives) and performance outcomes. In this paper, two questionnaires were developed and a survey conducted to assess the importance of GSCM practices and performances in an automotive company in a developing country using a fuzzy multiple criteria decision-making method. The result of this paper presents practical guidance for managers in performing GSCM practices by ranking GSCM practices according to their importance which leads to improving GSCM performances.
