TÉCNICAS DE ANÁLISIS PARA EL ORDENAMIENTO TERRITORIAL DE CUENCAS AGROPECUARIAS: APLICACIONES EN LA PAMPA AUSTRAL, ARGENTINA (original) (raw)
2012, Analysis techniques for territorial ordering of agricultural basins: implementation in Southern Pampa, Argentina
The Pampean region is going through a period of important agroproductive transformations that are displayed in the Basin of the River Quequén Grande, situated in the Southern Pampa. The information collected by the remote sensors allowed analyzing the changes in the use of the land de the Basin for 20 years. Supervised classifications were conducted on 9 Landsat images corresponding to 1988-1998-2008 and the “kinds of soil usage” were established, in different geomorphologic environments. The most disturbed geomorphologic environments, in 1988-1998, were the alluvial plains (49.9%), hillock divides with ponds (45.5%), and reticulated hillocks without ponds (36.3%), whereas, in 1998-2008, the hills, the hilly region, and the area surrounding the hills (25.9%) were the most disturbed. It is concluded that the availability of visual maps obtained from satellite images, form a central basis to encourage territorial ordering of agricultural basins. Key words: teledetection, soil usage, agroproductive transformations, agricultural basins, territorial ordering.
