Learning motivation is one of the important things that can affect the student's learning process. This study aims to explore the phenomenon of learning motivation of elementary school students. This research is quantitative research using survey exploratory research. Subjects involved in this study amounted to 51 elementary school students. Data collection uses a questionnaire as a data collection instrument. The questionnaire was compiled based on four components of learning motivation, namely the drive for achievement, discipline in learning, readiness to overcome difficulties, and curiosity. The questionnaire uses a Likert scale with the categories "always", "often", "sometimes", and "never". The data collected were analyzed using descriptive statistics. Academic Motivation of Secondary School Students: A Critical Study

Academic motivation is an essential part of learning and achievement. It is the most important factor that leads one to one’s goals. This drive is known as motivation. This study aims at investigating the effect of academic motivation on secondary school-students gender and habitat wise. The authors adopted a test (Bhattacharya, 1980) on academic motivation selecting 6 (six) dimensions. Internal consistency of test was found by Cronbach Alpha. The test was administered on 700 ninth grade students of both sexes drawn from different schools under West Bengal Board of Secondary Education. The analysis with ANOVA conclusively showed that students significantly differ sex wise on academic motivation, but there is no significant difference between urban & rural students or in any strata of them. Among the factor influencing students learning, motivation becomes one of the momentous factors that may affect students learning achievement. The aim of this study is to investigate the relationship between students’ motivation and their learning achievement. The subject were 88 second year students at Science major class of an Islamic high school in Cimahi City in the second semester of the Academic year 2018. It is not hard to recognise motivated student. He is interested, curious, active, enthusiastic and does not give up when encounters difficulties, but thinks for further education. Motivation during schooling is highly related to a student's later academic achievement and it is therefore very important to encourage it. This paper discusses the motivation factors and affective component for elementary school students. The empirical research has been carried out through a questionnaire based on the instrument Motivated Strategies for Learning Questionnaire (MSLQ) designed and adjusted for researching intrinsic goal orientation, extrinsic goal orientation and anxiety of Croatian elementary school students (1 st-4 th grade). The sample of this research consisted of 311 primary school students from rural (N = 103) and urban (N = 208) primary schools. The research was conducted during 2019 in several Croatian counties. The aim of the paper is to determine levels of three motivation factors: intrinsic goal orientation, extrinsic goal orientation and anxiety as an important predictor of future academic success. Secondary goal is to determine differences according to gender, age and the living environment of students. The results had shown that the overall level of motivation of the participants is high from which it is evident that students are highly motivated to work, especially female students. The results also shows high level of intrinsic goal orientation, higher level of extrinsic goal orientation and test anxiety comparing to Duncan et. al. (2015) results.

This study has explored the learner's achievement motivation in relation to academic performance in identified school in Borbon District. This study employed descriptive survey method Quantitative approach was employed to answer all the research questions covered in this study. Based on the finding of the study, the grade 4,5 and 6 learners have very high level of achievement motivation. In terms of their academic performance, it is equivalent to 82.37 which means approaching proficiency. While, the learner's high level of achievement motivation is not associated with their academic performance. There is significant degree of variances in the level of achievement motivation when grouped according to their grade levels. The results implied that achievement motivation assessment be concluded regularly to intermediate learners to gauge their readiness to new and bigger academic tasks. Moreover, teacher of schools should employ strategies that provide learners to experience, discover and master the concepts across disciplines.

Education is very important for humans, through the education throughout the world will increasingly flourish. However, if faced with the activities within the learning process, not a few men (students) who have less motivation in learning activities. This resulted in fewer maximal learning processes and in turn will affect student achievement. This study focuses to discuss matters relating to the motivation to learn and student achievement, with the aim of strengthening the importance of motivation in the learning process so that a clear relationship with student achievement. The method used is descriptive analysis and simple correlation to the 97 students taking the course introduction to Microeconomics and Indonesian. The conclusion from this research is the students have a good record if it has a well and motivated as well, and this study concludes their tie's difference between learning motivation and achievement of students on two different courses.

This quantitative study aims to investigate how intrinsic motivation affects students' performance in the Management degree at FEB Palangka Raya University. Purposive sampling was utilized to choose 123 students from the class of 2022 to participate in a survey. Participants' desire to learn was rated on a scale of 1–100 using the questionnaire, and their first-semester academic performance was evaluated using their individual version (IP) grade point average. EViews 12 was used to do the statistical analysis of the data. Students' grades (Y) were shown to be highly impacted by their level of learning motivation (X). The results of the statistical analysis, conducted using EViews 12, showed that there is a strong correlation between students' level of intrinsic motivation and their academic performance. The paper presents considerations about the characteristics of students' motivation in primary school and how students view certain characteristics of the teaching process as motivating or demotivating. The research included fifth and eighth graders, 617 students from ten primary schools in Serbia. We assumed that primary school students are partially motivated to learn. The results lead us to conclude that the students believe they can achieve their goals by self-efficacy. They have the high level of self-perception of competences. Self-worth, i.e. students' views of their own qualities, is least valued. The results show the high level of value of academic achievements. Social goals are also important to students. Nonconformity is not satisfactorily developed. The gender, grade and school achievement differences in students' motivation to learn. The results show that not all teaching strategies are equally motivating. A large percentage of students are indifferent to certain teaching strategies.

Student learning motivation is the driving force in students to be able to achieve optimal learning outcomes so that the desired goals of the learning subject can be achieved. The motivation that can come from within the student himself is called intrinsic motivation and comes from outside the student's self or extrinsic motivation. The purpose of this research was to analyze the level of learning motivation of seventh-grade students of SMPN 4 Siak Hulu in science subjects. The method used in this research is a survey method with a quantitative approach. The data collection technique used a learning motivation questionnaire instrument consisting of 25 statement items and the research subject was 67 students. This article discusses the effect of students ' intrinsic motivation on their English achievement, to find out the effect of students’ extrinsic motivation on their English achievement, and to find out the effect of the eighth grade students’ intrinsic and extrinsic motivation together towards their English achievement at SMPN 5 Bantan. The subject of study was the Eighth grade students of SMPN 5 Bantan totaling 88 students. The data were collected by using a set of questionnaire and documentation.
