E-learning activities are important for the development of any country. In modern era everybody is thinking about growth and Educational development. If it is planned properly then proper results will come. In this research paper development through E-learning in India is observed. If it planned properly then proper results will be affecting positively. In this research paper, we observed that E-learning is an effective tool for development of educational sector in India. E-learning is learning, utilizing electronic technologies to access educational curriculum outside of a traditional classroom. In most cases, it refers to a course, program or degree delivered completely online. The basic objective of this research paper is to understand concept of e-learning and to examine the type of e-learning. It also summarizes several opinions regarding the comparison between traditional learning and modern learning technique. The modern method in teaching and learning are useful for development of education sector in Indian context. The research paper focused on classroom learning and e-learning in India as a main wheel of development of education.

E-learning – An Indian Perceptive
E-learning is the backbone of every developing country. E-learning plays a very important role in the development of country. This paper focuses growth of e-learning in India and its impact on the development of India. E-learning helps in the development of country and also it helps everyone to study those who are willing to as it offers anytime anywhere. E-learning has become an important part of the society, comprising an extensive array of digitalization approaches, components and delivery methods. The use of information and communication technologies (ICT) for educational purpose has increased, & the spread of network technologies has caused e-learning practices to evolve significantly.
e-Learning and Future Directions of Indian Education
This paper is an empirical study of the prospects that E-Learning may have in India and how it would revolutionize the scope, reach and the delivery of education in India. Indeed E-Learning is a great enabler and of late it has been recognized as a means to resolve a multitude of social and economic imbalances and issues facing the nation today. For instance the UID project in conjunction with E Banking and Mobile applications have been touted as the means to bring in financial inclusion to a majority of the Indian population who do not have access to banking and financial services. Likewise in the case of education there are is a large segment of the Indian populations who only have access to a rudimentary form of primary education and do not have access to higher levels of education namely (i) Secondary Education. (ii) Adult Education, (iii) Vocational Education, (iv) University and Higher Education and (v) Technical Education With India's economic growth having taken a severe beating during the last ten years and with a new Central Government in Delhi there is every reason to be ebullient about both inclusive developmental growth and good governance. Under this new environment, the paper sets out arguments as to why E-Learning is the future of Education in India highlighting its need and importance and how it will be a game changer in the field of education in the near future. The paper also puts forth the premise that with the growth of a young population interested in education, successful e-learning models can be developed which will both complement and supplement the present system.
In the early period sages and scholars imparted education orally but after the introduction of alphabets writing developed on Palm leaves and barks of trees after that Gutenberg " s invention of printing replaced the oral education process of the ancients, so, too, has Charles Babbage " s invention of computers replaced paper with the paper-less world. The mode of delivery of education has changed from the oral to the written to the printed and now to the electronic. The internet has completely changed the way of storing, processing and retrieving information; it has also made its exhaustive effect on teaching and learning. The method of classroom teaching is transformed to E-Learning. The present study will focus on the development of education system of India from ancient to present period. In this study, changing modes of education and learning will be focused. A descriptive study on e-learning initiatives that were taken by scientific agencies, research institutes/centers, academic institutions and government, will be presented.
E-Learning Revolution: Status of Educational Programs in India
—As of now, the teaching-learning process in India is oriented towards classroom model. The generic approach is transforming into the flexible on line systems capable of imparting education in the manner that can never be thought of. With the advent of internet technologies in the past decade, it is bringing a turbulent change in the Indian education system. This paper provides a comprehensive insight to the current status of e-learning education in India. We have discussed three case examples and concluded that with the growth of the population interested in education, successful e-learning models can be developed and implemented by various universities across the country.

e-Learning plays a vital role in the present technological era as it leads to the development of individuals along with that of the nation. The concept of e-Learning evolved in the late 1990s by keeping in mind the objective of enhancing the knowledge of people through the usage of interactive devices (Vora, 2020). Due to its flexible nature, the demand for e-Learning has been increasing day by day. Conventional learning doesn't necessarily give the expected outcome i.e. quality education. Also, conventional learning doesn't allow teachers to be present at many places at the same time-e-Learning can remove the barriers that are innate to conventional learning such as limited to the physical space of a classroom, time-bound, limited learning etc. e-Learning leads to the intellectual development of an individual (Vivekananda, 2017). In a country like India, e-Learning is a boon and plays a vital role in developing critical thinking skills among students. In the Indian context, the entire focus in e-Learning is on the development and implementation of new methodologies in the context of technologies such as gamification, mobile e-Learning, cloud-based e-Learning, micro-learning, internet of things etc. The current study aims at 'Unfolding Online Mode of Teacher Education in Context of Indian Education System'. It is based on secondary data. Therefore, researchers did a review of the collected literature. In the present study, the research tool used for the analysis of data is content analysis and the research method is descriptive research. The findings of the study indicate that e-Learning is beneficial for all the stakeholders-teachers, learners, society and the nation.
