Knowledge sharing is a process in which individuals exchange their knowledge (implicit and explicit) and they create new knowledge together. Knowledge is an Unlimited; unfailing and valuable source for organizations that cause to survive in competitive environment and can be used to achieve competitive advantage. We can say that survival power of today's Organizations is depending on their use of knowledge. Knowledge can be available to individuals and organizations, therefore, there must exit conditions in the organization that people be able to share their knowledge with other individuals. In such situation, organizations can improve employees performance and also organizations performance. Given that the gas company performs and provides services to the citizens, achieving such goals requires employees to have certain knowledge and sharing that with other employees. So the objective of this study is to determine the factors affecting on knowledge sharing (motivation and confidence) and its impact on employees performance in the Gas Company of Kurdistan Province. This study provides a model that includes variables such as motivation, 211 confidence, knowledge sharing and performance in which the first two variables have been studied as the factors affecting on knowledge sharing. Statistical population of this study includes all of the executive employees in the Gas Company of Kurdistan province and statistical sampling included 124 people which were selected randomly. For collection of data a questionnaire was used. The standard questionnaire was used to design questions related to motivation, trust and knowledge sharing and to assess the employee's performance. The results showed that the factors of motivation and confidence are considered as factors affecting on knowledge sharing behavior and they enhance knowledge sharing, therefor they should be taken into consideration. In addition, the overall indices of model showed that the presented pattern is a good theoretical model for determining the effect of knowledge sharing on employees performance in which the data supported the model. Generally the effect of above factors on knowledge sharing behavior and the effect of knowledge sharing on employees' performance in Gas Company was confirmed.

At present the organizations of the world are moving towards an efficient knowledge based development environment. Knowledge sharing is an important tool that turns individual knowledge into group organizational knowledge. Knowledge sharing among employees is a procedure which passes skills and qualifications from one person to another to solve problems, develop new ideas, or implement policies or procedures. Future success of an organization depends on effective knowledge sharing. In this study a survey is conducted among 163 employees in different organizations on knowledge sharing. The Link Between Knowledge Sharing and Organizational Performance

Despite a general assumption that knowledge sharing among employees is vital for achieving a competitive advantage, only limited evidence has been provided to support it. This article examines the relation between knowledge sharing and three dimensions of organizational performance: innovativeness, financial performance and the use of human recourses. The study uses data from a sample of 112 employees from the Czech Republic. The findings provide evidence that knowledge sharing is significantly related to organizational innovativeness, employees' engagement, and the perceived benefits of knowledge sharing. Determinant Factors of Knowledge Sharing among Academic Staff in the Jordanian Universities
The main objective of the study is to examine the determinant factors of knowledge sharing among academic staff in the Jordanian universities, respondents view were also analyzed to show the most agree on the determinant factors of knowledge sharing. The study revealed that there are variation of the determinant factors on knowledge sharing, it shows that " Enjoyment in helping others, Knowledge self-Efficacy and ICT Use " have more significant effect on knowledge sharing, in addition, the study shows that It's observed that " Top Management Support " was the highest determinant factors of knowledge sharing, and " Knowledge Self Efficacy " was observed the lowest determinant factor of knowledge sharing.

This paper is intended to identify and analyze the dominant factors influencing knowledge sharing among the employees within the Department of Support and Engineering Services at PT Inco Tbk, Indonesia. The Effect of Knowledge Sharing and Transfer of Training on The Performance of Employees
This study aims to determine the effect of knowledge sharing and transfer of training on employee performance Balai Wilayah Sungai Sulawesi IV Southeast Sulawesi Province. This study uses a quantitative approach, the study subjects were overall employee of Balai Wilayah Sungai Sulawesi IV who have been trained in the amount of 80 respondents. The data used is primary data that is through the deployment of questionnaires, which are then analyzed using statistical methods namely multiple linear regression analysis. Based on the results found that the knowledge sharing and transfer of training together have a positive significant effect on employee performance improvement. Purpose Knowledge sharing becomes crucial in today’s competitive world to foster organizational performance. This paper aims to explore which employee characteristics facilitate knowledge sharing in the organizations and to examine the dimensions of these characteristics. Design/methodology/approach Opinion-based questionnaires among employees in Czech companies were applied. The research design in this study was cross-sectional. The hypotheses were tested by Pearson’s correlations and regression analyses. Findings The findings support the idea that specific individual employee characteristics increase knowledge sharing in the organization. This study was conducted with objective to determine the relationship between knowledge sharing and innovation with performance in manufacturing companies and trading of Guilan province (Iran). Nowadays organizational performance and its management has become one of the most attractive topics and interest. Thus current study sought to examine the impact of knowledge management, innovation and performance of manufacturing and trading companies in the Guilan province based on causal model. Method of this research is descriptive - analytically and in term of objective is considered applied. Statistical population of this research includes manufacturing and trading companies in Guilan province. Sampling method is simple random that 103 companies is selected for sample. Data collection method is field and the questionnaire used as the data collection tole. Content validity is used for validity of the questionnaire and Cronbach's alpha coefficient is used to determine reliability. The structural equation modeling technique was used to test he research hypotheses that finally all hypotheses were confirmed except for the sixth hypothesis.

The study aims to investigate the significant effects of individual factors on knowledge sharing among individuals. Administrative employees are regarded as a key role to achieve the effective performance of the organization via sharing their knowledge with others to perform working tasks in an efficient way. In spite of various studies on this topic have been conducted, few researches have been done on knowledge sharing and individual factors in developing countries such as Saudi Arabia. The hypotheses are formulated based on insights drawn by Social Exchange Theory (SET) and Conservation of Resources Theory (COR). Simple random sampling technique was used with sample size 364 administrative employees at Taibah University. Data is analyzed quantitatively using a structural equation modelling (SEM) technique in Smart-PLS. Findings contributes to Saudi universities by combined individual factors (e.g. abusive supervision, trust, learning orientation, co-worker support) under one framework to affect knowledge sharing. This study helps to extend literature of knowledge management area.

The importance of the way toward getting to and assessing knowledge, has been expanded with the use of new technology. Knowledge sharing has become a vital factor at the individual level as much as at the organizational level. Useful knowledge sharing in the case of an organization's employees makes a positive impact on accomplishing goals set by the organization. Knowledge sharing positively affects the employee's performance in order to achieve organizational goals. This study concentrates on the impact of knowledge sharing on employee performance in government organizations. The study's overall objectives are to recognize the impact of knowledge sharing on employee performance and identify the connection between knowledge sharing and employee performance in the state sector. This study uses individual (knowledge self-efficacy, enjoyment in helping others), organizational (management support, organization rewards, organizational culture) and technological (use of information and communication technology) factors as enablers of knowledge sharing process. As per the findings, Individual factors, Organizational factors and Technological factors relate positively to employee performance in government establishments.
