Enhancing understating of science is a need to build up school community and society. The techniques and tactics utilized by a community of science teachers to incorporate and teach skills. The study explores science teachers' views of communicating science to the school community and society. The data were collected through semi-structured interviews from 15 science teachers with more than 5 years of teaching experience and teaching Physics, Chemistry and Biology at the secondary level. Interview datainformed science teachers' understanding of communication science to the school community and society involves disseminating profound knowledge of the scientific facts and applications used in their lives. The results pointed out that the secondary level teachers had faced various difficulties in enhancing their understanding of science; therefore, schools need to develop a communication strategy to develop correct science concepts. They also agreed that science communication played an important role in the life of the student. Furthermore, science is more effective and valuable for students in their practical life. At the school level, lack of facilities and technology, lack of communicating mediums and laboratories, lack of experience of science teachers, lack of students' interest, only oral communication practices, and lack of practical activities are the significant difficulties in communicating science. We can overcome these difficulties by developing students' interest in science communication and making a proper environment for science communication.

Communication skills are one of the skills needed by humans in the 21st century. Mathematical communication skills are very important for every student to have, this is useful so that students can understand the problems in science learning given and students are able to express their ideas in solving these problems. This study aims to describe the level of students' written communication skills in science learning. The type of research used is survey research. The sample of this research was 53 respondents of class VIII MTsN 4 Bengkalis. Data collection were techniques in the form of giving a test totaling 10 questions. This paper examines the roles that 52 university Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) students play in an Interdisciplinary Science and Engineering Partnership that connects several middle schools, high schools, institutions of higher learning, businesses, and community institutions. It also examines the support these students feel are necessary to be successful in their roles, as well as what they feel the experience has taught them about science communication. Results from both qualitative and quantitative data, including surveys, interviews, observations, and artifact collection indicate that the most common experiences that the students had in the schools were assisting teachers in conducting labs, leading small group activities/discussions with students in class, demonstrating scientific content, procedures, tools, and techniques, and assisting teachers in teaching lessons. Most students felt these activities benefited their ability to work as a team, lead a team, facilitate group discussions, teach STEM concepts and methods, and generate others' interest in STEM research and activities. However, it was found that some tasks that the students were involved in provided more of a chance to practice their science communication skills than others. In order to be successful in these roles, nearly all of the students felt that support from the classroom teacher they were working with was necessary.

This study aimed to obtain the product, feasibility and effectiveness of Diary Book of Science media with the STEM Approach Discovery syntax to improve Students' Concept Understanding and Scientific Communication Skills. The research and development method used in this study refers to the method developed by Borg & Gall. Data collection was carried out using questionnaires and tests. Diary Book of Science with the STEM Approach Discovery syntax was validated by three validators, namely material experts, media experts and linguists’ experts, to determine the feasibility of the product itself. Students carry out further validation to find student responses and get suggestions for media development. Humans found four skills in the twenty-first century, one of which is communication abilities. The purpose of this study is to gather data and analyze student communication profiles related to science communication abilities in the context of ESD (Education Sustainable Development). ESD is a critical component of education that students must understand. It is vital to be able to speak with ESD in order to comprehend ESD (Education Sustainable Development). Students with strong science communication abilities are able to argue and represent data using the ESD idea (Education Sustainable Development). a qualitative technique is used in this research. The participants in this study are students from Muhamadiyah University's FKIP IPA Study Program in Riau. This study will be evaluated using indicators of students' SCIENCE communication skills related to ESD (Education Sustainable Development), such as: 1) the ability to create graphs/tables related to ESD; 2) the ability to describe tables/pictures/diagrams in the form of verbal information related to ESD; 3) the ability to interpret related to ESD; and 4) the ability to draw conclusions related to ESD. The results of the scientific communication skills exam were studied descriptively and classified into three categories: 1) able to answer entirely and with logical explanations; 2) able to answer partially (without a logical explanation); and 3) no answer and no logical explanation. The findings revealed that science communication skills remained in the bad group, with science communication skills in each metric falling below 53%.

The language gap is based on the well-known intimidating appeal of STEM programs and the unreasonable timidity of scientific degree courses to include communication skills as mandatory. This study is addressed to the science teachers as they play a big part in the acquisition of the target language (L2) which is English. In as much as the Ministry of Education in Bahrain believes that for their students to maximize learning and in the end to compete globally and boost their economy, they have to make some reforms in the teaching of languages like English and Arabic not to discount the importance of content subjects like Science and Mathematics. Certainly, there is the need for an advanced knowledge in technology which will make everything possible in all areas of discipline. English teachers should coordinate with Science teachers so that the latter may be helped in the learning of the contents they teach in Science. Science in Engineering Technology and Mathematics (STEM) strongly supports the current era of educational development. The component that strongly supports the success of STEM mastery is student literacy towards science concepts. This study aims to reveal the profile of scientific literacy skills that support the achievement of STEM. The method used is qualitative participatory. The participants of this study were 26 grade 6 elementary school students in Bandung. The instrument used is a test of understanding of several technology products around the environment where students live. Triangulation through interviews was conducted to explore students’ answers. Science Communication Education in North East India
More than half of the Indian population stays in rural areas and therefore connecting the unconnected becomes one of the primary challenges. Science and technology development and the general people’s awareness are necessary for overall society development. No one can doubt the immense impact of science and technology on society today. We face the challenges of not only understanding the current multiple revolutions in science and technology, but also how they affect the future of humanity and of the Earth. So scientific information, scientific thoughts and spirit of scientific temper need to be spread across the society. Science communication can be referred to the flow of scientific information and message from its source to target audience, through some medium or mediator. Except a few very honourable exceptions, generally, scientists and technologists find it difficult to communicate with common man in common man’s language. At the same time, the common man too is unable to understand the language of scientists - technical texts with technical jargon, specific to the subject area. Now, the problem is obvious, as the two are unable to communicate with each other which leaves a wide gap between the two and which is growing day by day due to rapid advancements in our scientific knowledge. The task is really very challenging and it needs proper training and education in the field of science communication. This paper attempts the contemporary status of science communication education in NE as well as it emphasizes the analysis of relevancy of the course curriculum in modern context. Attitude, Knowledge, and Application of Indonesian Science Teachers about STEM

This study aims to describe Indonesian science teachers' views on STEM attitude, STEM knowledge, and STEM application. The survey method was used in this study. Ninety-three Indonesian science teachers at junior high schools in Indonesia from four of 11 provinces with the largest number teachers such as Lampung, Banten, Jawa Tengah, and Jawa Timur were surveyed. The instrument in this study consisted of 30 items. The quantitative analysis was performed to address the level of three domains such as STEM attitude, STEM knowledge, and STEM application. The results showed that Indonesian science teachers' views are very good on STEM attitude (" =4.68), moderate-level category on STEM application (" =3.99), and low-level category on STEM knowledge (" =3.72). It can be concluded that Indonesian science teachers believe that they have very good STEM attitude, moderate-level category on STEM application, and low-level category on STEM knowledge. These findings recommended to science teachers or science educators in Indonesia to promote STEM Education in the national curriculum especially in science subject to improve STEM attitude, STEM knowledge, and STEM application of Indonesian science teachers.
