This symposium was an exploration of sensory perception, identity, and accessibility hosted by Exceptions Journal (exceptionsjournal.wordpress.com), an MSU-based literary and art journal that showcases the perspectives of visually impaired and blind individuals. Keynote offered by renowned disabilities scholar Dr. Georgina Kleege, whose collection of personal essays, Sight Unseen, offers an autobiographical account of Kleegeās own blindness alongside a cultural critique of how blindness is represented in literature, film, and language.
