Challenges in global education in post COVID-19 era and its remedy

International journal of health sciences

The whole planet has been put in danger by COVID 19. In every facet of life, it has wreaked disaster in its wake. There isn't a single industry that hasn't been touched. One of the most impacted areas is education. Around 1.54 billion children, including 743 million girls, have been infected by this outbreak, according to a UNESCO assessment. Because they lack the wherewithal to continue their education, the most disadvantaged members of society are the first to feel the effects of this policy. In these circumstances, the post-COVID-19 situation seems to be more difficult. There is a worldwide effort to assure the continuation of learning through online platforms, alternative modes of providing education, while also preparing for the opening of schools, colleges and universities. COVID 19's effects can only be mitigated if all parties involved, including students, instructors, school administration, and parents, work together to develop acceptable alternatives in concert...

Post-COVID-19 Education for a Sustainable Future: Challenges, Emerging Technologies and Trends

SUSTAINABILITY MDPI, 2023

The COVID-19 pandemic, which has been destabilizing the world since the end of 2019, has significant repercussions on not only health but also the economy, finances, society, politics, the environments, culture and education. In the academic environment, which is the case for universities, all pre-pandemic modes of operation have been called into question and all actors—students; teachers; researchers; engineers; librarians; and administrative, technical, social and health personnel—have been mobilized to address issues such as the adequacy, viability and sustainability of university educational practices during the health crisis. Significant work has been carried out to reassess and adapt university teaching strategies, and this work must continue after the pandemic. While the COVID-19 pandemic turned the world upside down, it was time for higher education to be innovative and proactive and to adapt to a post-COVID-19 world by rethinking its future and taking the necessary steps. EDUCATIONDURINGCOVID-19PANDEMIC

Student Group Research Paper, 2020

Education is one of the many basic human rights affected by Covid-19. Especially in a country like Nepal where education inequity is vastly prevalent, the spread of the Covid-19 pandemic has only worsened the situation. Similar to the global situation, Covid-19 has forced schools to shut down all throughout the country. While different schools have responded to this situation with their own coping strategies, most have adopted distant learning through the use of ICT. However, learning through technology or online education has resulted in a gap in access to education. As most of the public school students are deprived of digital and online access meanwhile only privileged students of the private school are acquiring the knowledge. Thus, these differences majorly affecting the public school students could further raise the existing disparity in learning among the private and public schools (Ghimire, 2020).

The Trends of Education after COVID-19

Nevertheless, the implementation of innovations has not stopped, even more; the strong, negative influence boosts the proper answers and efforts for survival. Nowadays, digitalization conquers all aspects of human life. Digital remote learning became common. New strategies, new approaches, and new ways of thinking support everyday life. The goals of the review paper are a rough draft of the trends of education that is the most important part of the human to become a person, and for humanity to stay sustainable and merciful.

Education System in Bangladesh Amid COVID-19: Traditional Scenario, Emergency Protocols, Challenges and a Proposed Sustainable Conceptual Framework

Sustainability

This study demonstrates how significantly the COVID-19 pandemic has affected Bangladesh’s formal education system. Despite the fact that Bangladesh introduced Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in educational practices before the pandemic, effective ICT deployment could not be integrated at all levels. Even though online classes and other print- and electronic media-based approaches evolved into the “new normal” in an effort to address the difficulties brought on by the pandemic, both teachers and students have faced and continue to encounter many challenges. A convergent parallel mixed method design was followed for this study. Data were collected from 205 Bangladeshi students and 50 Bangladeshi teachers through semi-structured questionnaires. In addition, 11 parent interviews and 12 Key Informant Interviews were conducted. According to the findings, the lack of proper training for teachers, poor socio-economic conditions, lack of internet availability and speed, the sh...
