ФУНДАМЕНТАЛЬНЫЕ ЦЕННОСТИ КИРИЛЛО-МЕФОДИЕВСКОЙ ЦИВИЛИЗАЦИИ (2021)

На основе аксиологического подхода проведен анализ кирилло-мефодиевской традиции. Ее специфическими ценностями являются миролюбие, гетерархия, неизменная верность, принцип «делай как я», подвижничество. Эти ценности конституируют кирилло-мефодиевскую цивилизацию, в состав которой входит Россия.

CIVILIZATION PROJECTS AND RUSSIAN CIVILIZATION, 2020

The article discusses the problem of the Russian civilization project, its goal, opportunities and prospects. The related concepts of a national project and a national idea are investigated in the context of the state ideology and strategy of the country’s development in the context of the geopolitical confrontation between states. The author identifies two ways of understanding the concept of civilization: archaeological and design. In the first case, it is the technological equipment of political communities with cultural content; in the second, it is a structure that serves two pragmatic purposes: geopolitical positioning and strategic planning. Therefore, from the point of view of goal-setting, it is productive to refer to the concept of a Russian civilizational project, and not a project of Russian civilization. It is argued that the real content of civilizational processes is the problem of foreign non-political sovereignty and domestic political legitimacy of modern states. It is concluded that competing civilizational projects differ in the way they manage human and material resources, therefore, not only an independent economic policy, but also the management of public resources based on the principles of equality and justice is fundamental for the strategic development of Russia. В статье обсуждаются проблемы российского цивилизационного проекта, его цели, возможности и перспективы. Исследуются смежные понятия национального проекта и национальной идеи в контексте государственной идеологии и стратегии развития России в условиях геополитического противостояния государств. Автор выделяет два способа понимания понятия цивилизации: археологическое и проектное. В первом случае – это технологическое оснащение политических сообществ, обладающих культурным содержанием, во втором – это конструкция, которая служит двум прагматическим целям: геополитическому позиционированию и стратегическому планированию. Поэтому с точки зрения целеполагания продуктивным является обращение к понятию российского цивилизационного проекта, а не проекта российской цивилизации. Обосновывается, что реальным содержанием цивилизационных процессов является проблема внешнеполитического суверенитета и внутриполитической легитимности современных государств, находящихся под давлением глобализации. Делается вывод о том, что конкурирующие цивилизационные проекты отличаются по способу управления человеческими и материальными ресурсами, поэтому для стратегического развития России принципиальным является не только независимая экономическая политика, но и управление общественными ресурсами на основе принципов равенства и справедливости.

"„National Saints“ Cyril and Methodius in Political Agitation of Slovak Nationalism The Slovak nationalism has used the similar tools for legitimization of the demands of its adherents since the very beginning on the eve of 18th and 19th centuries. In this sense it was fully comparable with the others national movements of that time that aimed to secure the participation of their fellows on the public/political life. The construction of the past played then the crucial role within the process of creating the national identity. History of Slovaks was however not easy to personify in a form of generally accepted pantheon of national heroes. The diverse cultural orientations of the Lutherans and Catholics caused absolutely different accentuation of the role played by specific personalities (heroes). This ambivalence is to observe as well as in a case of saints who traditionally represented and personified the given territory (country) and ethnic groups and/or nations. In Slovak case we can speak about the relatively late and only on the scientific discourse elaborated acceptance of two ‘national’ saints, Kyrill (Constantine) and Methodius. Even though their competencies concerning the Slovaks have not been unambiguous from the very beginning at all, they forged into the position of the national symbols and play the visible role at the symbolic representations nowadays. The described process was quite rapid and both saints represent one of the most important lieux de mèmoire of Slovaks regardless the fact that they profess to be their ‘direct heirs’ just in very sophisticated and artificially constructed way. The paper follows this process of the incorporation of the both saints into the historical tradition and stresses the fact, that the definition of their role had not to do with the popular piety which was constitutive in the Early Modern period. The function of Kyrill and Methodius was anchored in the intellectual sphere so their impact on the masses was minimal: they were neither martyrs nor patron-saints of any sector of the Catholic piety. Moreover the area of their activities was not clearly defined until the half of 18th century. The attention will be payed to the various forms of the politicization and incorporation of both saints into the political discourse during 20th century. "

ФИГУРЫ КИРИЛЛА И МЕФОДИЯ И КУЛЬТУРНОЕ САМООПРЕДЕЛЕНИЕ КАРПАТСКИХ РУСИНОВ (СЕРЕДИНА ХІХ – НАЧ. ХХ ВВ.), 2019

This article focuses on the question how the figures of Cyril and Methodius are inscribed into Carpatho-Russian cultural and confessional self-determination during the second half of the 19th and the first quarter of the 20th centuries. The material is drawn from the almanac called "Месяцеслов для русинов краины угорской" which is addressed to Rusyns of the Greek-Catholic confession. The purpose of the almanac, and especially of its articles with educational, cultural, historical or religious content, was to enhance Carpatho-Russian national identity. These texts offered Rusyns a model for selfaffirmation, including a vision for the antiquity of their own history, religion and writing, supported by historical as well as completely legendary sources. The Slavic Apostles proved the most suitable figures for such a model. After all, Cyril and Methodius link the Eastern and Western Christian worlds and could help Carpatho-Russians negotiate their place among Byzantium, Rome, Russia, and the Western Slavs.
