INTELLIGENT LIGHTING SYSTEM WITH ENERGY EFFICIENCY
This paper describes Intelligent Lighting System to reduce energy consumption in lighting system. Now days' saving energy is the most important issue, so many light control systems have been initiated in current market. But due to some designing limitations and energy inefficiency, the existing light control systems cannot be successfully installed in home and office buildings with energy efficiency and user satisfaction. This system uses motion, light sensors and wireless communication technology for control and monitors an LED light according to the user's movement and the surrounding light. This system can automatically adjust light intensity to improve energy efficiency and user satisfaction. The android Bluetooth application is particularly designed to control minimum light intensity as per user need and environment light illuminance.
DESIGN AND DEVELOPMENT OF A SMART LIGHTING POINT AND TEMPERATURE CONTROL SYSTEM
Conservation of energy which is the main focus of this paper is very important in order to reduce utility cost in residential buildings. Hence, a Smart lighting Point and Temperature Control system is designed and developed to control automatically, the electrical appliances in residential buildings. Smart lighting Point and Temperature Control system consist of a microcontroller, which serves as the brainbox of the system. The functionality of a Passive Infra-red sensor is employed in this system to detect the motion of a person entering or leaving the building; the system further detect the difference in surrounding light intensities through the aid of a Light Dependant Resistor to turn ON/OFF the lights automatically. it then checks to see if the temperature within the building is above the pre-set value to turn ON/OFF the cooling system. The number of persons entering or leaving the building is displayed on a seven-segment display.
Intelligent Household LED Lighting System Considering Energy Efficiency and User Satisfaction
Saving energy has become one of the most important issues these days. The most waste of energy is caused by the inefficient use of the consumer electronics. Particularly, a light accounts for a great part of the total energy consumption. Various light control systems are introduced in current markets, because the installed lighting systems are outdated and energy-inefficient. However, due to architectural limitations, the existing light control systems cannot be successfully applied to home and office buildings. Therefore, this paper proposes an intelligent household LED lighting system considering energy efficiency and user satisfaction. The proposed system utilizes multi sensors and wireless communication technology in order to control an LED light according to the user's state and the surroundings. The proposed LED lighting system can autonomously adjust the minimum light intensity value to enhance both energy efficiency and user satisfaction. We designed and implemented the proposed system in the test bed and measured total power consumption to verify the performance. The proposed LED lighting system reduces total power consumption of the test bed up to 21.9% 1 .

Intelligent Lighting System for Energy Saving using Wireless Sensor Network
International Journal of Recent Trends in Engineering and Research, 2018
This paper examines the use of Wireless Sensor Networks interfaced with light fittings to reduce energy usage in existing buildings. This creates a wire free system for existing buildings with the minimum disruption and cost. In the recent trends, the use of electronic load is increasing very fast and the gap between demand and supply are making the reliability and power quality a critical issue. The maximum waste of energy is caused by the inefficient use of the consumer electronics. A light energy accounts for a great part of the total energy consumption. As the installed lighting systems are outdated and energy-inefficient, there are various light control systems introduced in the market. But these existing light control systems cannot be successfully applied to home and office buildings because of the architecture limitations. Therefore this paper proposes an intelligent household incandescent lighting system considering energy efficiency and users satisfaction. The proposed system utilizes multi sensors and the wireless communication technology in order to control the light according to the user's state and the surroundings. This system can autonomously adjust the light intensity value to enhance both energy efficiency and user satisfaction.
This project proposes a framework to implement an intelligent lighting system. The main reason for developing such project is that maximum energy is wasted due to inefficient use of the consumer appliances. To be specific, a light accounts for a huge part of the total energy consumption. Though there are number of light control systems are introduced but most of them are outdated. This is because the existing light control systems cannot be applied to home and working place successfully. The ARDUINO UNO R3 is used as the main component which interfaces IR sensor, LUX sensor, GAS sensor and GSM module. LUX sensor is used as light to digital converter which senses the brightness and with the help of ARDUINO. This will reduce the intensity of the LED according to the surrounding, by this the energy consumption is reduced. The main advantage of the usage of the IR sensor is, it can count the number of individuals entering into the room and according to that it will improve the intensity of the LED. Here we added an additional features which can able to detect the gas and notifies through GSM to a phone. These technologies have been concentrated more so that this system can be used in domestic applications.
CONSTRUCTION OF AN INTELLIGENT AND EFFICIENT LIGHT CONTROL SYSTEM
A lighting control system is an intelligent connection of lighting that control the amount of light in a given space. It provides interaction between systems in order to regulate light. It is mostly used in public buildings in order to save energy maximally from lighting system and to satisfy codes of buildings. The problem of expensive cost in lighting system, increase in energy consumption bills and energy wastage led to the introduction of smart lighting. Therefore, an intelligent and efficient light control system that saves energy and cost of energy consumption of light in our day to day activities for rooms was assembled. Passive infrared sensor combined with the light dependent resistor was used to control the luminous intensity of led from the comparator (ATMEGA328) comparing the values gotten from the two sensors as input such that when the value of luminous intensity gotten from the light dependent resistor is higher than the required intensity, then the led remains off. When the value of luminous intensity gotten from the light dependent resistor is lower than the required intensity, the led supplies light that will make up for the missing intensity. It is deduced that, as the intensity of light increases, the resistance of the light dependent resistor decreases. It is also observed that the luminous intensity increases as the time of the day increases i.e. As the laboratory light intensity decreases. Thus, the system functions efficiently as the energy is considerably conserved.

In this paper, a room light management system is proposed based on real time clock and PIR sensor which is named as an automatic light management system (LMS). This proposed system will be able to provide the necessary intensity of light on various timings and with satisfaction of users and will save a lot amount of energy also. In this paper the light management system and the algorithm which helps to decide whether to switch on or off the lights are discussed. The decision making algorithm will check whether any occupants are there in the room and if any occupants are there, then it will check the current time of that particular location and based on the time it will decide the status of light. Our proposed system can promise to minimize the energy consumed for lighting in a room and to provide it efficiently with user satisfaction.
