Protection and Security are two general rights and, to guarantee that in our day by day life we are secure, a great deal of examination is going on in the field of home security, and IoT is the defining moment for the business, where we associate regular items to share information for our improvement. House security matters and individuals consistently attempt to make life simpler simultaneously. That is the reason we set up with this task, Face Recognition Door Lock System. Facial acknowledgment is a grounded cycle wherein the face is distinguished and recognized out of the picture. We plan to make a brilliant entryway, which gets the passage based on what our identity is. We need to build up this framework dependent on Raspberry-pi 3, to make the house just open when your face is perceived by the acknowledgment calculations from Open CV library and then you are permitted in by the house proprietor, who could screen entrance distantly. Thusly, the framework is less inclined to be hoodwinked: since the proprietor can check every guest in the distant support, getting perceived by the camera utilizing a photograph will not work. I need to add password work for entrance in the event that that face acknowledgment part adulterates.
IRJET-Home Security System and Door Access Control Based on Face Recognition
Smart security system has become indispensable in modern daily life. The proposed security system has been developed to prevent robbery in highly secure areas like home environment with lesser power consumption and more reliable standalone security device for both Intruder detection and for door security. The door access control is implemented by using face recognition technology, which grants access to only authorized people to enter that area. The face recognition and detection process is implemented by principal component analysis (PCA) approach and instead of using sensor devices intruder detection is achieved by performing image processing on captured video frames of data, and calculating the difference between the previously captured frame with the running frames in terms of pixels in the captured frames. This is the stand alone security device has been developed by using Raspberry Pi electronic development board and operated on Battery power supply, wireless internet connectivity by using USB modem. Auto Police e-Complaint registration has been achieved by sending security breach alert mails to the nearby police station e-mail id. This proposed is more effective, reliable, and this system consumes very less data and power compared to the other existing systems.

In a smart security system, automatic face recognition is the most challenging task from the past decade in computer vision. The applications of computer vision and face recognition have increased day by day with new dimensions and new positive impacts in our society. However some of the systems can't identify and recognize any person through the blur conditions, illumination and lightings are the major problems. The authors have proposed a system in this paper that can operate different lightings and identify faces from various angles. It stored various datasets of known persons to identify the compatibility of the system in different conditions.

The purpose of this paper is to provide a lock system where no physical contact is needed to open a door lock. Typically, a normal lock system requires a contact whether it is a lock-key or biometric system. The system doesn't require any type of physical contact with the person which is a necessity in this Covid-19 situation. In the system, we need to collect the pictures or face data of the persons who have permission to open the lock. The camera module will capture the person's face when a person comes into close proximity to the sensor connected to this system. That frames then will be compared to the whole database of faces stored by admin, if it matches any of those faces then the lock will be open otherwise an alert message is sent to the user through SMS with the image of the intruder. Through the system not only an admin can see the face of the person at the door, but an admin can also control the whole system through a different place. The system can be controlled through IoT. Hence, providing extra security and service to the user.

In this paper we discuss the real time face recognition with the idea of secure locking automation utilizing iot for door unlocking system to provide necessary security to our homes, office, hospitals, banks etc. and related control operations. We know that in daily life security is major concern about every people so we work on this project to provide security by using smart door. Security caution through the azure database. It uses the image capturing technique in an embedded system based on raspberry pi and azure server system. R-pi (Raspberry pi) controls the video camera for catching it for turning on a relay for door unlocking. The system module contains a secured face recognition for automatic door unlocking. The camera catches the facial picture and compares with the given image stored in our local machine. If the image is found in the given database then the door unlock automatically otherwise it does not open the door and it will produce a message of an unknown person is trying to gain access and door remain lock.

Internet of Things (IoT) is mainly used to conceptualize the idea of remotely connecting and monitoring real world objects (things) through the Internet. When it comes to our house or office, this concept can be capably integrated to make it smarter, safer and automated. This paper focus on building the intelligent security system using wireless technology which is capable of sending automatic alert messages to the owner by using network in case of any intrusion and raise alarm optionally. There are many security systems currently available in the market which was too priced which cannot be purchased by the ordinary person. The paper target is to supply the primary information to the user about the utilization of open source technology which comprises of OpenCV2, LBPH algorithm, SMTP. The implementation area is mainly focused on local level like home, campus and offices. The system has come up with the real time face detection and recognition once the camera is started. The captured image is examined with the images available in the database and if it is a match, the entry is granted and door will open. On the other side which is, if the captured face did not match with the images available in database then the captured image is sent to the owner's mail. The system is going to wait for the response from owner with an appropriate action. Based on the action retrieved from the owner it will decide either access will be granted or denied. The main goal of the project is to develop a recognition system which uses real time faces of the person as well as to provide security to ordinary persons with low cost.

Nowadays, we are facing security issues in every aspect. So we have to resolve these issues by using updated technology. In this project, we are using the Face recognition module to capture human images and to compare with stored database images. The most important of feature of any home security system is to detect the people who enter or leave the house. Instead of monitoring that through passwords or pins, unique faces can be made use of as they are one's biometric trait. We aim to create a smart door, which secures the gateway on the basis of who we are. We want to develop this system based on Raspberry-pi 3, to make the house only accessible when your face is recognized by the recognition algorithms from Open CV library and meanwhile you are allowed in by the house owner, who could monitor entrance remotely. Whenever the person comes in front of the door, it recognizes the face and if it is registered then it unlocks the door, if the face is not registered it will raise an alarm in the mobile and clicks a picture and send it on the registered number. This is how the system works.

As a result of enhanced civilization and modernization, the humans' demands more comfort to their lives. Thus, automatic doors are one of the examples that bring comfort and ease in their daily life. This paper presents a low cost, Internet of Things (IoT) based Smart Door Unlocking System using Raspberry pi where Haar Cascade algorithm is used to detect faces. It is an innovative access control system.

Nowadays , smart home technology has became one of the leading IoT based projects , as a result of that there are lots of new IoT based products available in the society that gives people to live more convenience and security lifes at homes. Many people are aware of these technology, and the smart home applications helps people to manage their schedules home lightings , electricity bills , groceries list , and also their home security. Everything can be controlled from different places as well as different people with single phone. There are lots of door locks and bells like FL1000 from ZKTeco, Corum Security, EKEN (WiFi door bell) … etc , these give more security for any room , office , garages soon. Literally, Nowadays facial and finger print recognition is well established and popular process to keep more secured home , here facial recognition helps to detect and identify faces whom we want to allow to our home. For that we have to setup a display monitor connected with HD camera infront of the door. We can even able to give voice lock processing by texting voice with Raspberry Pi ARM processor and it gives messages to the owner. Where we can even see and talk who enter near to the door. We have been using set of electromagnets which will be controlled by microcontroller and acts as a lock. By these people can easily access with facial recognition and also can interact. Here the facial recognition done by operating over Microsoft Visual Studio IDE, which will be detected over 0.2 sec. These facial lock detection majorly helps to old people and who are staying away from home , that helps to open or close door by the app with mobile or any remote controller. And also we can keep accessing who came inside and also we can interact with people standing front of the camera. If we don't want to allow anyone inside or any unknown face detection occurs then we can get a alert message to the owner. We can give access to many people to enter into the home and also we can keep time limit too for accessing the lock.

Security issues are an important part of everyday life. A vital link in security chain is the identification of users who will enter the room. This paper describes the prototype of a secured room access control system based on face recognition. The system comprises a webcam to detect faces and a solenoid door lock for accessing the room. Every user detected by the webcam will be checked for compatibility with the database in the system. If the user has access rights then the solenoid door lock will open and the user can enter the room. Otherwise, the data will be sent to the master user via Android-based smartphone that installed certain applications. If the user is recognized by the master user, then the solenoid door lock will be opened through the signal sent from the smartphone. However, if the user is not recognized, then the buzzer will alert. The main control circuit on this system is Raspberry pi.
