This study examines the relationship between knowledge management practices and firm innovation with the mediating effect of knowledge application. For the said purposes, data were collected from 140 firms that belong to the services sector. 600 questionnaires were distributed in the services sector by using the drop-off and pick up technique. The number of returned questionnaires was 545, but 45 questionnaires were rejected because they did not contain the required information. A simple random sampling technique is used for the data collection. The sampling technique followed the steps recommended for studies utilizing structural equational modeling (SEM). The data was entered into SPSS and AMOS for structural equation modeling. The empirical analysis shows that knowledge generation and knowledge diffusion have a significant positive effect on firm innovation while knowledge storage does not affect firm innovation. Moreover, knowledge application mediates the relationship between knowledge generation, knowledge storage, and firm innovation. While knowledge application does not play the mediation role between knowledge diffusion and innovation performance. Also, this study furnishes several future directions for academic scholars and participation. The limitations have also been discussed.

Impact of Knowledge Management on Innovation: Evidence from a South Asian Country
Ever growing need for innovation has become a big challenge for organisations. Consequently , Knowledge management (KM) is gaining importance in the business world as one of the critical enablers for innovation. This study answers the question whether KM philosophy helps organisations develop capabilities to induce innovation, especially in the context of developing economies. Based on the empirical evidence from the service sector of Pakistan, we show that knowledge acquisition, knowledge dissemination, and responsiveness to knowledge signi¯cantly in°uence an organisation's capabilities to produce innovative outputs. We also bring to the fore a mutual relationship of KM components with each other, thereby highlighting that knowledge acquisition is important for knowledge dissemination which in turn determines an organisation's responsiveness to knowledge. We used structural equation modelling (SEM) to develop a model among three endogenous KM factors and one exogenous factor, innovation. Our ¯ndings show a signi¯cant relationship of all variables, though the strength of each varies, hence con-¯rming the hypothesis that KM, if implemented e®ectively, improves organisation's ability to innovate.
The Impact of Knowledge Management on Organizational Innovation: An Empirical Study
Asian Social Science, 2015
The character of organizational innovation is considered significant for developing and improving the related products, procedures and marketplaces, for adding value as well as effectiveness over administrations. The innovation procedure is necessary regarding the activity of an association as the capability for innovation is important for attaining and sustaining competitive advantage. The absence of empirical investigations about the consequence of knowledge management on organizational innovation by organizational learning particularly over the developing countries exists in the related literature. The key objective of the current investigation is to evaluate the consequence of knowledge management on innovation directly and over organizational learning in Iranian automotive industry namely Iran Khodro Company. A total of 272 managers were chosen from systems and methods as the participants of the current study. The data were analysed using the Structural Equation Modelling (SEM). Results of the study revealed that there is an influence of knowledge management on organizational innovation in Iranian automotive industry. Results of the investigation showed that organizational learning has an important character as a mediator on the association between knowledge management and organizational innovation.
KNOWLEDGE MANAGEMENT AND ORGANIZATIONAL INNOVATION ( a study of selected banks in Nigeria)
The purpose of the study is to examine the effect of knowledge management on organizational innovation. twenty two banks in South-south region were studied. The hypotheses posed in the study were using the Spearman ranking correlation coefficient. Data were obtained from employees and management staff of the firms. the sample size was determined using Taro- Yamen's formula. Consequently, 165 copies of the questionnaire were administered to the respondents and 126 was collected and analysed. The results obtained showed a positive relationship between these two variables postulates that the more of knowledge management practiced in a company the more innovative the company will become. it is against this, the study recommends organizations should ensure that good knowledge management strategies should be implemented to bring about greater innovation in the organization.

This is the objective of this study, “knowledge management and sustainable competitive advantage in the service industry in Nigeria: an interacting effect of innovation. All of MTN Nigeria’s Matori, Lagos office employees served as the study’s population, and researchers used a cross-sectional survey approach (242. Questionnaire was developed in a 5-point scale and administered, 205 were returned and 193 (80%) was utilized for analysis. Simple percentage, mean, standard deviation, correlation coefficient and hierarchical regression analysis were adopted for analysing data retrieved on SPSS 25 due to the presence of the interacting effect of innovation. The results showed a statistically significant positive relationship between KM and S...

The aim of this study is to explore the mediating role of innovation components in the relationship between knowledge management processes and performance. The research questions were investigated through questionnaires with top-level managers of a firm operating in the Turkish telecommunication industry. The results of the study indicated that knowledge management processes affect all innovation components. In addition to the direct effects of the knowledge management process on firm performance, marketing, product and process innovation are mediators in the relationship between the knowledge management process and performance. Finally, this research sheds light on how firms can manage their knowledge to gain a competitive advantage based on innovation.

ERPN: Product Strategies (Topic), 2016
This study investigated the impact of knowledge Management on Product Innovation of Manufacturing firms in Nigeria. A sample size of 95 was determined from a population of 125 employees selected from 5 manufacturing firms in Port Harcourt. 70 copies of the questionnaire were appropriately filled and data was analyzed using Standard Multiple Regression with the aid of SPSS version 21. The findings showed that all the dimensions of Knowledge Management influenced Product Innovation of the firms. However, it was revealed that knowledge acquisition has the most impact on product innovation. Further, this paper testified the mediating role of innovation in the relationship between knowledge management and organisational performance. Primary data has been collected through self-modified and well-structured questionnaires, which were distributed among employees working in the general insurance sector of the Jammu District of J&K, by using the census method. Secondary sources investigated were books, newspapers, and relevant journals. Questionnaires have been duly purified and validated before data analysis. Structural equation modelling technique has been used to assess the impact of knowledge management on organisational performance. The results revealed a significant and positive impact of KM on OP. Furthermore, the Baron and Kenny approach has been used to testify the mediating role of innovation, and the results found a partial mediation, which signifies the existence of a direct relationship between KM and OP, as well as an indirect relationship through innovation. The respondents might have given the information regarding knowledge management, innovation, and organisational performance on the basis of their own perception. In order to implement an effective knowledge management system, management should create a culture conducive to learning and knowledge.
