Today’s understanding of health requires the integration of concepts, such as creative thinking, intuitive and aesthetic knowledge, spiritual awareness, integration, and maturation, which are extremely important in the development of health. The examination of the process of making and creating art and the development of aesthetic sensations that occur at the end of this process play an important role in both the development of health, the growth and maturation of the individual, and the recovery and repair of illness. Art activities not only support holistic health but also act as a source of motivation for well-being. Research on the application of psychological healing through art, 2022
With the development of society and the upward movement of Maslow's needs, people began to pay more and more attention to their spiritual thoughts and inner feelings. People not only care about their physical health and whether they have physical diseases, but also start to care about their mental health and whether they have mental diseases. In addition to disease, people also spend more energy thinking about how they can achieve more happiness, and how they can have a better life. At the same time, people are exploring how they can better make their intimate relationships happier. Along with this trend, more and more different ways of psychological healing are coming into view. Art therapy is a very cross-boundary approach because it not only exists in the traditional field of psychology but also combines art, a different discipline. What impact will this cross-boundary collaboration bring to psychological therapy? And what kind of practical significance and achievements will such a crossdisciplinary collision bring to some application fields? Art Therapy: A Healing Tool in Health Care
Sustainable Entrepreneurship, 2022
In 1942, British artist Adrian Hill discovered the benefits of painting and drawing while th recovering from tuberculosis. In the mid-20 century, art therapy was broadly accepted publicly as a therapeutic approach. Art therapy is a kind of therapy done under the guidance of a trained professional to relax or practice self-care by being creative. It can be beneficial to an individual or group in any sort of setting, be it hospitals, communities, home settings, or even school. This therapeutic process can be effective for a range of physical or mental health conditions, including specific health problems with ongoing daily challenges, and helps clients to live a better quality of life. Art therapy improves mood and reduces pain and anxiety when offered at the bedside during acute hospital treatment. Art therapy may be excellent for all patients, regardless of sex, gender, age, ethnicity, and diagnosis. The significant role of nurses is to implement different forms of art therapy on a daily basis, including the development of policies, as these interventions are often less expensive and easier to implement. Researchers want to do a systematic review and establish hospital protocols on art therapy for inpatient departments of hospitals. While providing mainstream treatments, hospital authorities and health care professionals can use forms of art therapy to optimize care and outcomes.
THE FUTURE OF ART THERAPY AS A PSYCHOLOGICAL GENRE OF ART
THE FUTURE OF ART THERAPY AS A PSYCHOLOGICAL GENRE OF ART
Creating art is not a licensed activity, but an activity that is directed against all possible restrictions. No matter what kind of control will be exerted on the commercial, clinical, psychological, or spiritual trajectories of the experimental field called 'art therapy', art therapy as a kind of art will remain free territory. Art therapy put forward two roads as the main conceptual pathways: 1) art as therapy; and 2) art psychotherapy. These two concepts, according to American art therapist Cathy Malchiodi, are ubiquitous in the art therapy literature and have become well-worn mantras describing the profession and guiding the way art therapists define themselves (Malchiodi, 2013). Art as therapy embodies the idea that art is a therapeutic process and a healing experience for mentally ill people and children with
