Abstract

The aim of this volume is to provide an interdisciplinary forum for the analysis of various aspects related to the culture of memory in Central Europe in the Middle Ages and in the Early Modern period. The papers have been grouped around the following themes: the "artes memoriae", individual and collective memory, and the relationship of memory to artictic production. Thus, the collection will be of interst to scholars working in literary studies, history and art.
