Currently the world is facing a phenomenon, a fast-spreading disease named ‘2019 Novel Coronavirus’(COVID-19). It has spread approximately 215 countries around the world and is affecting the health and economic condition widely. To effectively control the situation nationwide lockdown was implemented in Bangladesh following WHO’s instructions. That lead to nationwide panic buying, stockpiling, circulation of misinformation and a sense of food insecurity at local level. Most of the people of Bangladesh depends on agricultural sector and this pandemic created severe crisis for this sector. The magnitude of the crisis fluctuates from place to place in Bangladesh. Food Security and nutrition progress has been slow or reversed globally. The demand for food systems is increasing due to population, income, technology, and climate change. Since the dawn of time, plagues have devastated humans. Pandemics all have a catastrophic effect on the global economy. A study found that COVID-19 has a ripple effect throughout the food supply chain, from farm to table. Food production, processing, distribution, and demand are increasingly major concerns due to recent supply chain issues. Food supply chain financial challenges due to COVID-19 restrictions on worker movement and consumer demand. Governments should therefore promote worker and agricultural product migration. Small farmers and the poor should also be financially assisted. To ensure employee health and safety, facilities must adapt to changing working conditions. Anti-price protectionist policies must be avoided. As the virus spreads, countries must adjust their policies accordingly. Flexible enough to respond to food supply chain challenges. This analysis will study food grain availability in India, assess the impact of COVID-19 on agriculture and food, and outline measures to mitigate the pandemic's impact.

The ongoing COVID-19 pandemic has resulted in a new era in the efficacy of the agricultural sectors while the costs of this new era on humanity, the economy, and the food sector are still under examination. For example, the agrarian sectors like agriculture, fisheries, and livestock are vital aspects of food systems directly affected by COVID-19. This review paper summarizes COVID-19 and its effects on the agricultural sectors. The COVID-19 affects the profit of agriculture, livestock, and fisheries and has opened up inequalities within the food chain. As a result, the epidemic has shown that our food chain is fragile. Since the worldwide population and urbanization will be raised in the coming decades, epidemics will occur more often. To that end, we have highlighted the need to ensure contingency plans and mitigation strategies about agricultural systems which would make more sustainable and resilient.
A REVIEW ON POST COVID -19 IMPACT ON INDIAN AGRICULTURE ACTIVITY AND FOOD SAFETY

On 24 March 2020 Indian govt. declared complete lockdown of country and it was immense economic shock and it had adversely affected on farmers and food supply chain. This lockdown is going on still with some restrictions in one form /other. Due to this some food supply chain business activities and supply of food products are in danger. This paper talks about effect of covid-19 on socioeconomic influence and impact of lockdown restrictions on food supply chain. These paper also concise suggestions needed to control and reduce impact of pandemic. In conclusion the supply chain should rejoinder and overcome the crucial condition in food supply chain.
