This activity aims to provide mentoring and training for teachers in SD 3 Wergu Wetan on learning media based on scientific literacy. The instruments used in this activity were interview guidelines, observation sheets, and teacher's understanding questionnaire. Analysis of the data used is data triangulation. This activity begins with the needs analysis stage, the material workshop step, the media making the stage, the follow-up stage, the implementation phase of the media in learning and the evaluation stage. Based on data analysis found the results of this learning media can increase student learning activities with an average value of 84.8 or with good criteria. Likewise, the results of the questionnaire responses of students get an average score of 92.8 or with very good criteria. Thus it was concluded that this media could increase the activities of students and teachers had a better understanding of learning based on scientific literacy after receiving this training.

Development of Interactive Learning Media Based on Articulate Storyline 3 of the Ipas Project to Improve Scientific Literacy Skills

Development of interactive learning media on social interaction, communication, socialization, social institutions, and social dynamics in the IPAS Project using the Articulate Storyline 3 application to improve students' scientific literacy skills in class X at SMKN 1 Puloampel, Serang District. This research is a Research and Development (R&D) using the ADDIE model procedure (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). The study's results were based on media expert validation of 86% and material expert validation of 90%, so the learning media product was declared very feasible to use. As for the response of media users from students, 82%, and the response of media users from teachers, 97%, the criteria for these two values were stated to be very good for use in learning. The effectiveness of the media has a normalized score gain of 0.66 with a medium criterion interpretation, so the learning media is quite effective in increasing students' scientific literacy skills.

Utilization of Learning Media in Science Lessons in Elementry Schools

The purpose of this research is to know the benefits of the use of the media learned in elementary school science. The method used in this study is library research. The data-collecting techniques for the research began by looking up relevant topics to help writers in collecting data. That data is obtained by searching relevant journals, books, and resources. Research reveals that one of the key elements of the learning process is the use of the learning materials, or learning resources. Using the media is one method for improving the educational process. The teaching process in the class can be facilitated for teachers by using a media learning tool to facilitate an exchange of knowledge for students. Thus, students can learn to achieve the learning goal for this by using learning resources.

The development and use of Information and Communication Technology in education can make reform for a better education system. Especially at the elementary school level learning media is very important so that the knowledge obtained is more concrete. This paper conveys the result of research with a qualitative descriptive approach regarding the form of the use of Information and Communication Technology media in learning Natural Sciences. The location of this study was conducted at Al Irsyad Al Islamiyyah Elementary School 02 Purwokerto, Jatiwinangun, East Purwokerto, Banyumas Regency, Central Java, Indonesia. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques werw performed using the three-step Miles and Huberman model, namely data reduction, data display, and drawing conclusions (conclusing drawing and verification). Damar Kurung is one of the unique forms of cultural art from Gresik, East Java, Indonesia, in the form of rectangular lanterns, its material is made of paper, its frame is made of bamboo, and on each side is painted with a certain story. EFFECTIVENESS OF THE USE OF EDUCATIONAL MEDIA IN THE TEACHING SCIENCE OF VI STANDARD STUDENTS

The present study enlightens the effectiveness of the use of educational media in the teaching science of VI standard students. To achieve the expected outcomes of develop the attention of the subjects, motivate the students, create interest of students towards subjects, helping the primary level students to use of educational media and to help teachers to take effective class. Various methods were adopted in classroom transactions which were not fruitful. Hence the researcher was used educational media for teaching learning process in the classroom. Experimental method was adopted in the study. Simple random sampling technique was used for the selection of sample. Of the various Matriculation schools in Thoothukudi District, the present study was confined to a school namely Kanchi Sri Sanhara Academy Metric Higher Secondary School, Tiruchendur. 60 students were taken as the sample for the present study. Educational Media Package was prepared by the investigator and pre-test, post-test were conducted. After administrating pre-test, treatment was given through media package for experimental group to find out the effectiveness of it and for the control group, traditional method was given. 't' test was used for analysis the data. Use of Educational Media method is more effective than the traditional method in the teaching science of VI standard students.

Peluang Media Interaktif dalam Menunjang Efektivitas Pembelajaran Tematik di Sekolah Dasar

The purpose of this research was to investigate the effect of interactive media to support the effectiveness of thematic learning in elementary schools. This research was an experimental method with one group pretest posttest design. The sample of this research was second grade students of three schools such as SD YPK Mopah Lama, SD Wasur II and SD Theresia Buti Merauke. The number of students was 42 students. The results of data analysis revealed that there was a significant effect on the improvement of thematic learning by applying interactive media, as evidenced by the value of tcount> ttable (3.656> 1.845). Based on the experimental results, there was an increase of 2.476 or 6.11%. Furthermore, based on the effectiveness of the applying of interactive media was in the good category.

Instructional Learning Based on Scientific Approach for Elementary School Students

This study aims to determine the magnitude of the needs of teachers and students for scientific approach-based learning media for fourth grade elementary school students. The subjects of this study were 3 teachers and 80 students in Elementary school Purbalingga District. The results of the needs analysis show that teachers still experience difficulties in implementing the 2013 curriculum. Not only that, teachers also lack scientific approach-based learning media to be used in learning activities. For this reason, it is necessary to develop learning media based on a scientific approach. The results of the study indicate that teachers and students need the development of learning media based on a scientific approach. This research went through the literature study and field studies which were carried out using interviews, and media needs questionnaires. The results of the media needs questionnaire show that 64% of respondents really need scientific approach-based learning media to help the learning process and 36% need learning media. based on the scientific approach is expected to be able to streamline the learning process using the 2013 curriculum.

Energize Learners to Use Scientific Approach and Interactive Media in Teaching Science

Abstract: Science competence is learning outcome of students achieved as the result of their exploration through science learning process that cover of tree aspects: 1) knowledge of science products, 2) science process skills, and 3) scientific attitude. The objective of this research is to increase science competence of elementary students grade IV through science learning process make use of scientific approach with interactive multimedia. Scientific approach that used including 5 (five) learning phases, that areengage, explore, explain, elaborate, and evaluate.
