What Is the Evil to Be Overcome?

Scrinium

Significant perspectives on Christ’s life and death, which both Pelagius and the Eastern Fathers held, are Christ’s victory over the Devil, the continuous creation of humanity, and Christ’s redemption of human sin. Imitating Christ’s example by exercising free will is the most important Christian response to Christ’s victory. Synergism between the exercise of free will and Christ’s example as God’s grace are located in God’s mystical Oikonomia. As seen in their for-knowledge theory concerning the story of Esau’s abandonment, Pelagius’ synergism was in no way heretical, but rather completely consistent with the Eastern Fathers. On the other hand, the discontinuity in Augustine’s soteriology between human nature after the Fall and Christ’s redemption as God’s grace is significantly different from the continuity evident in Pelagius’ and the Eastern Fathers’ views. Augustine’s logical- philosophical speculation on Esau’s abandonment, which was repeated in non-historical contexts, had to...

Avoiding the devil

2021

The educationalisation of social problems serves as favoured instrument to transform big societal topics, e.g., peace, social justice, equality, equity and equal opportunities, inclusion, recognition, freedom and liberty, into problems of education and educational research. These topics then turn into educational visions and missions. However, they often lack their negatively connoted counterparts: war, injustice, inequality, but also failure, disappointment, even the subversive movement against its own honourable intentions. By examining the epistemological, the sociological and the historical perspective, this paper illustrates how the epistemological profile and the educationalisation of social problems contribute to constructing both positive, forward-looking theological and teleological patterns while masking the other side, the Devil. It concludes that longing for peace might just be part of the desire to create an educational vision of a perfect and harmonious world.

Dark Side of the Meditation: How to Dispel this Darkness

Journal of Emerging Technologies and Innovative Research (JETIR, ISSN: 2349-5162, Impact Factor: 5.87), (www.jetir.org), Vol.6, Issue 8, 69-80, August 2019, http://www.jetir.org/papers/JETIR1907469.pdf. , 2019

The purpose of doing meditation, as perceived by us, is that it gives a lot of benefits to its practioners at the physical, psychological, emotional, cognitive, and the spiritual levels. But there is a dark side of the meditation, which is hardly highlighted, particularly by those spiritual masters who are earning a lot of money out of this spiritual business. No such master has ever claimed the adverse effects of their specific meditation technique. But it has been reported in some studies that some meditators, though in minority, suffer from bouts of depression, anxiety, confusion, disillusionment, and loss of meaning and interest for their life. A few of them have even attempted suicide. This paper is concerned about those who are going through periods of angst, disillusionment and hell due to the adverse effects or the dark side of the meditation. These spiritual travelers, suffering from spiritual depression, fortunately do not see themselves as suffering from clinical depression. Some of these souls view this phase as God given opportunity for reflecting on their lives and they treat this phase as a blessing in disguise for the beneficial change. This paper analyses the phenomenon of the dark night of soul and then attempts to show the path to those meditators passing through this serious phase and guides them how to come out of this crisis victoriously and see a brighter light at the end of this dark tunnel.

The Incapacity of Satan.docx

From the Biblical account of the fall of man, which is attributed to the machinations of Satan, to the present, man has consistently blamed Satan for virtually all his atrocious acts. Who or what is Satan? What capacities does he possess to lead man into actions that are against the will of God and that man often regrets? The paper subjects 'ekwensu,' the name of Satan in Igbo (Nigeria), to critical analysis within the context of transcendence and the eternal battle between the senses and spirit of God for the control of human soul; this battle has been dubbed Battle of Evermore. The paper holds that the soul makes its choices between the soft whispers of the spirit of God and the compelling commands of the senses-sight, touch, sight, smell, sound and taste. Here, the paper offers, lies the uncanny practicality of the word ekwensu. A literary translation of the meaning of ekwensu is "if you agree, I shall commence my dastardly acts;" this implies that it is the individual that allows ekwensu (Satan) the enablement to perform whatever acts that follow the permission. The paper furthers that given a certain state of spiritual unfoldment of an individual, the soul resists and rejects the compelling demands of the senses, harkens and directs the body towards the quintessence of the soft whispers of the spirit thereby totally incapacitating Satan. Here, the paper concludes, is the foundation of spiritual enlightenment and transcendence towards atonement (at-one-ment) and oneness with God.

Step 2: Can a person be assured that he/she has eternal life now?

2009

One of the first areas of Satan's attacks on your new spiritual life will be his suggestions in your mind that what you have done is ridiculous. His first intent will be to make you doubt what God has done in your heart. It is possible that you will have this thought: "You don't really believe you are saved: its just your imagination. Your sins are not forgiven just because you received Christ. It just can't be enough."

IS IT POSSIBLE TO STOP REINCARNATIONS?

Reincarnation is a law of nature. We continue to reincarnate indefinitely and forever. So question naturally comes - can we stop our personal reincarnations. The answer is both yes and no. No, we cannot get out of the cycles of reincarnations. The simultaneity law of nature defines our global destiny. Our individual destiny is derived from this global destiny. Therefore we do not have any kind of freedom to act in any specific way to change our own destiny to get rid of reincarnations. Even the person whom many consider as god, like Krishna of Mahabharat, also comes to this world once in every millennium to satisfy his reincarnation law. The answer to the title question is also yes, because we can learn yogic power through yogic meditation to bring our body to a physical state where we will not feel any kind of pain and suffering from life and its reincarnations. Our body will achieve a physical state, called divine state, and we become a high level yogi, and the material world will not affect us anymore. However, we still reincarnate, because we are guided by the global destiny, and we are born for the needs of the society. The concept of liberation is intimately related to soul theory, yogic meditation, reincarnation, and global destiny. Thus we take a multifaceted approach to the subject question. Pain and suffering are both physical and mental. We show that to relieve from all physical pains one must perform high level yogic exercises and yogic meditations throughout the life. In the same way to get relief from mental pain one must acquire the knowledge about soul from Vedic science. This knowledge must then be experienced by advanced level of yogic meditation.

The Heaven Sent Remedy for Vanquishing Wickedness

What does one do when unseen wickedness appears? Oppositely the presence of warmth and love is associated with light and truth. Yet there is an element of unseen spiritual realm that is wicked and where evil prevails upon that region. In 2003 evil showed up. We had just been given an Angelic visit where we were informed in a powerful message about the specific "Purification Vessel, Formed by the LORD, Painted by Moses, Used by Aaron, Over 3,300 years." We were also informed that the sacred Vessel of Moses was to be returned to Jerusalem for removing idolatry. There were three of us and we all knew that there was an enormous army of wicked spirits outside of our house. We could sense upon our pleasant thoughts the assaults of their sneering, their sarcasm, their foul expressions. That much spiritual darkness that would be directly assaulting 'fire darts' and definitely violating our peaceful home came from Jerusalem, we were absolutely convinced. The declaration remains: "A shadow is resting over Jerusalem, a terrible shadow, which none should have any desire to come under. Everywhere a curse is visible, which none should have any desire to look upon. One can see marks of the curse everywhere. Do not wish to look upon the desecrated shrines, with all the repulsive features that would meet one's view. Behold the traces of the curse so evidently resting upon Jerusalem, of idolatrous Roman occupation." At that time, a word of prophecy was given to us about the importance of dipping the unleavened bread into the pure grape juice to vanquish the enemy. We really learned that if any dark evil presence was lurking, we could run to the freezer, get the flax-spelt cookie-like unleavened bread and dip it 7 times into the grape juice and immediately the evil was vanquished. This prompted our study into locating specific instructions within the ancient Hebrew text for dipping an unleavened spelt bread into grape juice as a Heaven sent remedy to go to battle against unseen wickedness. One event was vivid where we were finally launching online the manuscript of the Unleavened Bread and Grape Juice ceremony as the remedy of Heaven against wickedness. It felt like all the spiritual agents of evil darkness had shown up. The battle was severe in the unseen realm yet directly affecting our lives. We were praying, crying out, and claiming Scriptural promises. When the last SEND was posted online, the battle ended. Evil darkness fled and we looked at each other in shock wondering what had just happened over several hours. At that time we did not understand everything however, we knew that dipping the unleavened bread was very powerful when dipped 7 times into the pure grape juice. Evil fled every single time. It was dramatic and we knew that we would want to know where in the Scriptures this principle was taught. From the time we had first looked into the subject, the subject still continues to unfold in layers of knowledge. It has taken 15 years of full time studies to comprehend the matter and also see the witness of the proof of a Heaven sent vanquishing of evil by restoring proper worship of the Creator GOD by implementing HIS Covenant Meal to cleanse the sanctuary of errors, mistakes, and knowing what offering to bring forth for removing wicked violence. It is time for the Tabut of Musa and Harun to be returned to Jerusalem for the sacred duties!
