Effectiveness of E-learning in Higher Educational Institutions During Covid-19 Pandemic at Andhra Pradesh, India

In the year of 2020, covid-19 (corona virus) disease was spread all over the world and it declared as pandemic by the World Health Organisation (WHO). Internationally, more countries implemented many control measures like social segregations, lockdown and temporary suspension of schools. In this situation most of the schools, colleges and universities started to implement E-learning system globally. In this study, it aimed to investigate and explore the effectiveness of Elearning though assessing the challenges and issues of online learning during covid-19 pandemic between the students who studying in universities and colleges in Andhra Pradesh, India. The data has been collected through online survey from 300 students randomly who studying in universities and colleges. The collected data has been analyzed by using IBM SPSS Statics version-23 for frequency distribution and to test the level of significance among the variables. The ANOVA and coefficient of correlation with standard deviation test has been used for the analysis. The result of this study was distributed with frequency distribution graph and table of testing significance of variables. The online learning platforms, challenges and benefits are the important factors for the analysis. The result showed that, most of the students are ready to attend E-learning during covid-19 pandemic. The survey showed that most of the students moderately satisfied with the E-learning system. The majority of the respondents are used plat form for E-learning is whatSapp, because it is the familiar app that used send and receives homework and assignments at home. The quality of E-learning depends upon the teaching methodology, collaborative learning, innovative and motivated teaching and engaging the students actively during E-learning process. Teaching faculties should motivate their students to keep them engaged and active during the online learning process. Finally, this work concluded that implementation of E-learning system during the covid-19 pandemic is effective and useful for the students to improve their knowledge and skills in higher education sectors.

E-Learning: Teaching Effectiveness to Conventional Teaching in Undergraduates amid COVID-19 Pandemic

With the spread of the COVID-19, many educational institutions have shifted from face-to-face classes to online learning modalities, and this immediate shift has challenged both teachers and students. The adaptation of e-learning was a way to cope and ensure the continuation of many undergraduate students' teaching and learning processes. The study aimed to rank the effectiveness and satisfaction of the students in their experience with e-learning and compare the satisfaction between online instruction and modular instruction. A total of 412 students participated in the study and utilized a survey questionnaire that assessed the effectiveness of instruction and measured the satisfaction of the students learning experience. The result of the study shows that e-learning is just as effective as face-to-face classes and learners are neither satisfied nor dissatisfied with their learning experience. Furthermore, students who opted for online classes are more satisfied with their learning experience than learners who opted for modular instruction.

PROSPECTS AND CHALLENGES OF E-LEARNING (A REVIEW DURING COVID-19 PANDEMIC

In the past few years, e-learning is emerging as a global platform in the continuation of studies. E-learning has revolutionized the entire education system by providing flexibility and easy access to lectures anytime and anywhere, especially during covid-19 pandemic after which face-to-face learning was no longer possible. Although people were aware about e-learning and its usage but it got more prominent after COVID-19 pandemic. So, e-learning became a necessity for continuing education. This present study attempts to analyze the difficulties, benefits, and drawbacks of both educators and students by implementing these technologies as well as alternative solutions. This study discusses numerous prospects made possible by the COVID-19 pandemic and emphasizes the requirement for developing suitable methods to handle such an unanticipated crisis in the future. The problems faced by learners were a poor internet connection, a lack of electricity, a lack of interest, and a lack of desire. This study also suggests the government take the lead in assisting students who have limited access to the internet and technology, which are essential for participation in online classes, while also encouraging students to participate more actively in e-learning, particularly in context of the serious pandemic. To this purpose, various suggestions have been offered that could help academic institutions overcome these challenges and preserve academic quality during turbulent times.

Perceptions towards E-learning in Times of COVID-19 Lockdown Phase in the Tertiary Education

E-learning has become the mandatory component of all educational institutions like schools, colleges, and universities in and around the world due to the pandemic crisis of COVID-19. This deadly situation has flipped out the offline teaching process. E-learning provides an effective teaching method that brings out the best in students. To find out the student's attitude towards e-learning, primary data has been collected from national and international wise through Google forms which include the student community from various schools, colleges, and universities. This research paper aims to study the E-learning process among students who are familiar with web-based technology. It also helps to find out solutions to improve the self-study skills of students. The stratified sampling method has been adopted in this study and the sample size is 175 across the world. The findings of the study reflect the impact of E-learning, students' interest in using E-learning resources, and their performance. In conclusion, this study shows that E-learning has become quite popular among the students all over the world particularly, the lockdown period due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

E-learning technologies have the potentialities to spread learning to a great mass at a time by providing the learners with a wide aspect of knowledge and information and to learn with their own pace. The present study is a descriptive survey through which an attempt is made to know the problems faced by the students while e-learning, facilities available for e-learning and to know the views of the parents regarding elearning and the prospects of e-learning. Colleges of Education Student-Teachers’ Perceptions on the E-Learning in the Era of COVID-19 Pandemic

The study examined students’ perceptions on the impact of online learning in the COVID-19 pandemic. A descriptive survey design was used. The study was conducted on level 100 student-teachers in three colleges of education (Accra, E. P. Amedzofe, and Peki), affiliated to the University of Ghana with a total population of 802. The calculated sample size was 325 on 4.2% margin of error with 95% confident level. A self-designed survey questionnaire, containing the background information, and five scaled Likert-type questions grouped on the variables of: home factors; teaching-learning and supports; and impacts of the online learning on students. The instrument was pilot tested on 50 student-teachers and later administered to the participants. Information Technology Student’s Perception Toward E-Learning During Pandemic Covid-19

The outbreak of COVID-19 has had a significant impact on the educational system around the world. It prompted the closure of educational institutions, which had a negative impact on the student activities all over the world. COVID-19 required confinement and isolation due to its infectious nature thus imposed seclusion, which has a significant impact on lecturers and student's personal interactions. The quantitative approach has been adopted and responses using the data that collected through online questionnaires from 200 students from Department of Information technology and Communication at Politeknik Ungku Omar. This research was conducted during August-September 2021 and the data were recorded in SPSS and analyzed using descriptive statistics. This study reveals that the most difficulties in e-Learning to adjust their learning styles and maintain focus. Moreover, students also most of the students have less motivation when learning online compared to face-to-face learning. The mean perceived in the differences of perceptions according to gender, household income and area of residence are also have significantly different. this study reveals that most students satisfied with the lecturer's teaching delivery through online platform. This item scores the highest score mean among other items. Most students recommend reducing workload and providing longer assessment times to improve motivation in an e-Learning environment. By giving light on the perspective of diploma students, the findings of this study add to current studies on students' perspectives and preferences for e-Learning education.
