Abstract

The use of a Distributed Array Processor (DAP), either in its own right or as a technique for simulating systolic array hardware structures, is discussed. In particular, the Geram-Schmidt open loop structure for orthogonalization and McWhirter's modified systolic array structure for Givens rotation are mapped onto the DAP with modifications to make use of the fast parallel data transfer capability
