This study investigates the structure-activity relationship of cinnamic acid derivatives as potential hepatoprotective agents. Specifically, the research focuses on caffeic acid derivatives, evaluating how structural modifications, such as replacing the catecholic group, influence their ability to mitigate liver damage induced by carbon tetrachloride (CCl4) in rats.
