RESUMEN Esta investigación tiene el propósito de analizar los dibujos que realizó el cronis-ta indio Felipe Guaman Poma de Ayala en su memorial Nueva corónica y buen gobierno, sobre la muerte de Tupac Amaro, el último monarca de Vilcabamba. La autora tiene un interés especial en precisar si estos dibujos fueron trazados bajo las influencias humanísticas de Occidente, la simbología de la tradición oral andina o desde ambas perspectivas. ABSTRACT This research analyses the drawings made by the Indian chronicler Felipe Guaman Poma of Ayala in his report called Nueva coronica y Buen Gobierno, on the death of Tupac Amaro, the last monarch of Vilcabamba. The authoress is interested in establishing if these drawings were influenced by Western humanism, the simbolism of the oral Andean tradition or by both.

The conquest of Hispanic America is understood due to the work of Felipe Guaman Poma de Ayala an Andean author who decided in 1613 to write a letter to King Felipe III of Spain about the workings of their government and forms carried out by those who are ruling. The letter became a play called The First New Chronicle and Good Government consists of almost eight hundred pages of handwritten text and more than four hundred drawings by the author. The letter was write in Quechua and Spanish language. This work became essential to understand colonialism and intercultural constructions.

En el presente artículo se hará un análisis del material poético en lenguas andinas en la Nueva Corónica y Buen Gobierno de Felipe Guaman Poma de Ayala para dar cuenta de la conformación de un discurso polémico en la obra. El mismo está signado por la experiencia del autor en la vida colonial y su visión particular de la historia andina previa a la conquista. Se tomarán los poemas dedicados a la muerte de Atawallpa Yupanqui y Topa Amaro para mostrar cómo el autor utiliza el arsenal poético para enhebrar y resignificar su discurso polémico. (ENGLISH)The present article will analyze how the poetic material in Andean languages founded in the Nueva Corónica y Buen Gobierno of Felipe Guaman Poma de Ayala contributed to the conformation of a polemical discourse in the text. This polemic discourse is linked to the author's experience in colonial life and his particular vision of Andean history prior to conquest. The poems dedicated to the death of Atawallpa Yupanqui and Topa Amaro will be consider to show how the author uses the poetic arsenal to thread and resignify his controversial speech.

Guamán Poma de Ayala’s Nueva Corónica y Buen Gobierno, even though unjustly disregarded by its early critics, has had a tremendous influence in Peruvian iconographic culture. From museum pieces and book covers to liquor bottles and bank advertisements, the style of the Nueva Corónica has become common currency in intellectual and public spaces, an immediately recognizable token for the diffuse idea of what is authentically Peruvian. This text sets out to explore the ample world of images explicitly or covertly inspired by Guamán Poma de Ayala’s text and artwork as well as analyze the distinct circumstances in which these processes of intertextuality occur. What elements of Guamán Poma’s images are kept or left out and why? What makes these instances of appropriation differ from each other? Using the intertextual model we set out to analyze the Nueva Corónica’s ever-growing hypertexts, their purpose and their motivations.

The Felipe Guaman Poma de Ayala, "Nueva coronica y buen gobierno" is part of a little group of illustrated manuscript from the Andes at the time of Peru viceroyalty. I argue that this indigenous writer, and artist, composed 398 illustrations using some stereotypes models, in relationship with the woodcut engravings delivered from Antwerp and Spain. But, the problem what I want to understand is how Guaman Poma used this influences, foreign and local (incas), to create a new iconographic models to represent the power and the autoritas like an attribute for the Inca kings
About a graphic representation in Guaman Poma's chronicle (2015)
This is an analysis of an ilustration of a little kuraka in Guaman Poma de Ayala’s manuscript, the Nueva Corónica y Buen Gobierno. It is made with the end of disentangle the diverse levels of symbolic communication of the picture. The author knew effectively the portraited man and I employed the textual treatment of his figure as an effective comparative help in my study of another Andean kuraka from middle seventeenth century.
