In the current environment, excellent organizations are those that are able to maintain their competitiveness through the integration of technology, processes and practices of human resources. In particular, it is considered that the development of human resources is vital to taking advantage of market opportunities, in spite of that, special attention should be paid to the recruitment, selection, allocation and staff training. This article aims to provide some ideas about the importance of the Balanced Scorecard for its application in knowledge management as a support tool in evaluating the cost-benefit of different training programs for human resources, analyzing their characteristics and presenting different possibilities and models of integration.
