This study examines the effect of the use of e-government on employee performance and its impact on work effectiveness. The population in this study were 131 employees of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights in Aceh Office (Kemenkumham Aceh). The research model was tested using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) through the use of Amos software. The result proves the use of e-government has a significant influence and a positive direction on employee performance, the use of e-government has a significant influence and a positive direction on work effectiveness, work effectiveness has a significant influence and a positive direction on employee performance, effectiveness work partially mediates the effect of e-government utilization on employee performance. Relationship Between E-Management And Excellence Of Government Performance Applied research on Al-Aflaj traffic authority, in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (K.S.A

The present research problem can be summarized in the following question "To what extent can service quality contribute to operationalization of E-management and excellence of government performance within Al-Aflaj traffic authority, K.S.A." Moreover, the study seeks to determine the relationship nature between service quality on one hand, and both E-management and excellence of government performance on the other, through testing the proposed model to reach a number of results, and recommendations that may benefit officials within Al-Aflaj traffic Authority, K.S.A. To this end, the researcher used the descriptive methodology, interpreting the existing condition of the examined issue, dimensions, along with conducting analysis and interpretation of such issue. In addition, the researcher used the questionnaire methodology in the field study with a sample comprised of 137 items. Results of the study indicate that there is a significant effect of E-management on service quality within Al-Aflaj Traffic Authority. The former has a significant effect on excellence of government performance within Al-Aflaj Traffic Authority. Some recommendations made by the present research include: the establishment of an entity concerned mainly with up to date technology enacted in E-management, benefit from similar endeavors undertaken by other countries, notwithstanding cultural differences, develop knowledge skills and potential of staff by way of skills and potential of staff by way of training to ensure the presence of high caliber employees within job activities for greater levels of performance under the umbrella of E-management.

The effect of using e-government on improving electronic services at Palestine Technical University – Kadoorie

The current study sought to reveal the reality of the application of egovernment services at the faculties of the Palestine Technical University-Kadoorie (PTUK). Moreover, the researchers aimed to identify and realise the degree of awareness of faculty members, and administrative staff regarding the concept of e-government, the various possibilities of its application, and the most prominent obstacles that prevent its application in an appropriate manner. The researchers followed a descriptive approach to collect and analyse data. A questionnaire was designed for this purpose. Subsequently, after ensuring its validity and reliability, it was applied to the study population. The study sample consisted of 126 respondents, which was comprised of various faculty members and administrative officers. The results of the study showed that the respondents were aware of the concept of electronic government, with an acceptable degree. Furthermore, that they were neutral about the possibility of implementing the e-government system, when they confirmed their agreement to apply its measures in their workplace. E-Government Applications: Factors Affecting the Employees’ Satisfaction and Effectiveness in Greek Municipalities

After the economic crisis, in an attempt to enhance the administrative efficiency in Greece, various reforms were implemented regarding the e-government applications at public organisations. In this context, we explored the responses of 173 employees 'satisfaction and effectiveness of the systems' application considering variables such as Optimization, Citizens' services, Servants' efficiency, Assurance, Use of the internet, Quality of services and System's functional operation. An ordered logit model was applied for this particular case. The outcomes revealed that both the employees' satisfaction and the perceived effectiveness of the e-government use were significantly associated with the System's functional operation and Servants' efficiency. The effectiveness was also significantly associated with Quality of services. Employees having lower educational level were more satisfied and denoted higher levels of effectiveness. These results will be valuable to policymakers for receiving decisions regarding the needed practices in order to advance the interaction between public and government services.

The Influence of Leadership Style, Competence of the Employee, and the Application of E-Government on the Performance of the Employee in the Tangerang City Government

Every organization must have human resources, which is an essential asset in achieving the organization's goals. Without good human resources, an organization cannot perform well. Human resources are the only resources that cannot be imitated. Human has reasoning, feelings, desires, abilities, skills, knowledge, and creation. Improving employee performance will optimize the organization's performance. Therefore, the attempts to improve employee performance have become a challenge for the Tangerang City Government in maximizing the employees' performance because the success of achieving the organization's goals and sustainability depends on the quality of its resources. This study attempts to examine several factors that might influence the employee's performance, namely the leadership style, the competency of the employee, and the application of E-Government. This study is held in Tangerang Municipality. 969 respondents have been selected as samples using the Slovin method from a total of 7,569 employees. The sampling technique used is saturated sampling. The data is collected through questionnaires and analyzed using the descriptive analysis method. The study found that the entire hypothesis in this study has been significantly proven. Leadership style, Employee competency, and E-Government application substantially affect employee performance. In this study, all variables have an equally vital role in improving the employee's performance individually and in combination.

FACTORS AFFECTING IMPLEMENTATION E-GOVERNMENT IN THE GOVERNMENT OF WEST SUMATRA PROVINCE (Study on West Sumatra Provincial Government Employees)

This study aims to determine the factors that influence the implementation of E-Government in the Government of West Sumatra Province. The number of samples taken as many as 100 respondents. Based on the results of the validity test, it can be seen that all statements used to measure the E-Government variable are declared valid, because each statement has a corrected item total correlation coefficient above 0.65. While the reliability test with internal consistency test has a composite reliability value that meets the criteria. Based on the test results, all variable indicator statements have met the criteria of validity and reliability. The aim of the study is to explore the process of the evaluation process in the Jordanian e-Government program, The research adopted the quantitative approach to answer the questions of the study, an interviews with the CIOs were conducted to answer the questions of the study. The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of e-Government application on the quality of information at a local government. This study also analyzed factors that influence e-Government implementation such as user resistance, organizational culture, management support, human resource competence, and information technology. The population in this study were all employees of the local government in Kabupaten Agam. The sampling technique was purposive sampling. The total sample were 119 respondents out of 6874 employees. Data were collected by using questionnaire and analyzed with Structural Equation Model (SEM) and Second Order Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) with AMOS 22. The results found out that there is a positive and significant influence of human resource competence on the implementation of e-Government. However, there is no positive and significant influence of user resistance, organizational culture, management support, and information technology on e-Government implementation. The results also show that there is a positive and significant influence of e-Government applications on information quality. Human resource competence is an important factor affecting the implementation of e-Government to produce good information quality at local government of Kabupaten Agam. The results of this study will contribute for the improvement of information systems in the district government of Kabupaten Agam as well as other districts in Indonesia. It will also enrich knowledge in information systems field.
