A Novel Coronavirus 2019 Linked with Pneumonia in China: Current Status and Future Prospects (original) (raw)

Coronavirus Disease 2019 Assosiated Pneumonia in China: Current Status and Future Prospects

The emergence of severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus-2 (SARS-CoV-2) linked with coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) poses a serious threat to public health worldwide. Firstly, the SARS-CoV-2 was reported in Wuhan, Hubei Province, China in December 2019. Initially, the major proportion of virus-infected cases (i.e. about 99%) was reported in China and now it is being reported in other counties as well. Humans begin to be infected within their communities and transmittance of the viral epidemic increased rapidly due to lack of understanding of its transmission routes and precautionary measures. The existence of SARS-CoV-2 in China threatened the population greatly due to the high incidence of fatal respiratory infections. Current investigations speculated that this virus transferred into a human from viral-infected bats. However, the process of interspecies viral transmission is an important scientific question to be addressed. Due to the continuous increase in the patients ...

Details on Novel Coronavirus 2019 (COVID-19) and It’s Outbreak

2020

The emergence of severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2, previously provisionally named 2019 novel coronavirus or 2019-nCoV) disease (COVID-19) in China at the end of 2019, has caused a large global outbreak and a major public health issue. As of February 11, 2020, data from the WHO has shown that more than 43,000 confirmed cases have been identified in 28 countries/regions, with more than 99% of the cases being detected in China. The number of diagnosed cases is more than 40,000 until the submission of this manuscript. On January 30, 2020, WHO has declared COVID-19 as the sixth public health emergency of international concern. The SARS-CoV-2 is closely related to two bat-derived severe acute respiratory syndromelike coronaviruses, bat-SL-CoVZC45 and bat-SL-CoVZXC21. It is spread by human-to-human transmission via droplets or direct contact, and infection has been estimated to have mean incubation period of 6.4 days and a basic reproduction number of 2.24-3.58. ...

Aureole Covid-19: A Prospect Towards Aetiology, Exploration and Navigatıon Based on Current Studies

Seybold report, 2020

From many years, three types of corona virus syndrome (zoonotic) have been identified. These are-Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS), Middle East Respiratory Syndrome (MERS) Swine Acute diarrhoea Syndrome (SADS). SARS and MERS arrive in 2003 and 2012, respectively, and cause worldwide infection that claimed thousands of human lives and SADS infatuated the swine industry in 2017. In December 2019, the outbreak of pneumonia caused by the novel coronavirus 2019-nCov in Wuhan, China. The strains of corona viruses are highly pathogenic to humans or livestock, thus it is highly likely that future SARS or MERS like corona virus outbreaks will originate from Bats, and there is an increased probability that this will occur in china. The virus is transmitted through droplets, close contact and the patients in the incubation period could transmit to other persons. Therefore, the research of bat corona viruses becomes an urgent issue for the detection of early warning signs, which in turn minimizes the impact of such future outbreaks in China. The intention of the review is to summarize the recent knowledge on viral diversity, reservoir hosts, and the geographical distribution of bat corona viruses in china, and eventually we aim to predict virus distribution and their transmission potential with precautionary measures.

A novel coronavirus transmission from China to Pakistan via different countries; A review

The Professional Medical Journal

A review of novel coronavirus transmission from China to globally is a serious illness or just a thread to world population. In the beginning cases of novel coronavirus (COVID-19), were found with infected pneumonia (NCIP) in Wuhan city, China, during December 2019 and January 2020. An outbreak of 2019 novel coronavirus diseases (COVID-19) in Wuhan, China has spread quickly national and international wide through transportation and travelling of people. Covid-19 outbreak was idiopathic, and it got attention not only nationally but internationally. Health authorities got activated and they took immediate actions for prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of the condition. They use precaution by isolating the people infected with it even who were suspected, did close monitoring of the patients and discovered different treatment procedures and diagnostic tests to combat the disease. Electronic articles search and data collected were done through PubMed, Google Scholar and Medline, using ...

Global Respiratory Illness Outbreak COVID-19 and Its Global Consequences: An Overview

International Journal on Environmental Sciences, 2020

Global Respiratory illness outbreak COVID-19 is a new public health crisis threatening humanity across the globe with the emergence and spread from central China in late 2019. The virus originated around Wuhan, Hubei province, China in December 2019 in bats and was transmitted through unknown intermediary sources to humans. The clinical presentation of viral infection ranges from asymptomatic to severe pneumonia with acute pulmonary distress syndrome is designated as COVID-19. WHO has characterized the disease as a pandemic due to its severity, as well as the shifting of epidemic zones across the globe from epicentre zone, China through a different stage of transmission by contact or inhalation with infected droplets and the incubation period, varies between 2 - 14 days. Treatment is essentially supportive; the effective role of antiviral agents is yet to be established and secondly without knowing the entire genome sequence of COVID- 19, no drug or vaccine can be effectively admini...
