Legal Regime for Scientific Works in the Digital Age

The modern technological age dictates a fundamental reconstruction of almost all spheres of public life, where new problems and difficulties are added to the existing ones. Such volumes of information innovation imply a fundamental reconstruction of social life, as the latter has a significant impact on all spheres of human activity. The article is devoted to topical issues of legal regulation of scientific works copyright protection in the Russian Federation and the Republic of Armenia in the era of the development of digital technologies. At the current stage of the development of digital technologies, a unique environment has been formed, which implies over-concentration in the fields of economy, politics, propaganda, science, law. Modern trends in the development of science and technology dictate the practice of applying new digital technologies, not only in various fields of activity but also in the field of copyright, where one of the key objects are works of science. The article presents some aspects of the legal regulation of the use of digital technologies in the field of copyright in order to create new mechanisms for the protection of scientific works.

Then l will look at some of the implications of electronic Copyright on the digital library, namely; Clearing electronic Copyright (the difficulties of identifying and approaching rights holders); the cost of electronic Copyright in terms of fees and chasing costs; and methods of protecting electronic Copyright materials. Finally l will examine some Mure scenarios affecting Copyright in the digital age. Copyright in der Digitalen Bibliothek Der Artikel untersucht die Wirkung des Copyright auf die digitale Bibliothek, indem die Erfahrungen des ACORN-Projektes (Access to Course Readings via Networks) beim Einrichten ihrer "Short-Loan" der Sammlung an der Loughborough University in Anspruch genommen wurden. Zuerst werde ich die Ziele des ACORN-Projektes umreißen. Danach werde ich einen Blick auf den rechtlichen Zusammenhang im Vereinigten Königreich werfen und zeige n, wie Copyright in einer elektronischen Umwelt angewandt wird. Dann werde ich einen Blick auf einige der Auswirkungen des elektronischen Copyright auf die digitale Bibliothek werfen, nämlich die Schwierigkeiten, die Rechtsinhaber zu identifizieren und an sie heranzutreten, auf die Kosten für elektronisches Copyright im Zeitalter von Gebühren und jagenden Kosten sowie auf die Methoden das Material des elektronischen Copyright zu schützen. Zum Schluß werde ich einige Zukunftsszenarien untersuchen, die Copyright im digitalen Zeitalter beeinflussen.
