Tipografía e ilustración en el siglo XV en Salamanca: la imprenta de la familia Porras. = The state of the issue of printing press in Salamanca in the 15th Century is studied: The research focuses on the printing press of the Porras family, from circa 1477 to 1500, including. The printed documents have been typographically studied, because most of them are sine notis, and they have been attributed to the anonymous printing press: “Printer of Nebrissensis, Introductiones”, in some cases, and “Printer of Nebrissensis Gramatica”, in other cases, according to the typeface of the printed. The adscription was made to one or another printing press by the typographical similarity that they presented with these works by Antonio de Nebrija, printed in Salamanca in 1481 and in 1492, respectively. But now, for some documents found in the Real Chancilleria of Valladolid, these printed can be attributed to the publisher who produced them in each case. “Printer of Nebrissensis, Introductiones” is the printing press of Alonso de Porras. And “Printer of Nebrissensis Gramatica” is the printing press of Juan de Porras. Alonso and Juan are father and son, two generations of the same family. The illustration –woodcut initials and engravings- of the Salamanca incunabula of Porras printing press has also been studied. The survey of the woodcuts contributes to know on tastes, relationships and trade between Spanish and European printing presses and engraved workshops.
