Robustness analysis for the certification of digital controller implementations (original) (raw)
Abstract
AI
This work addresses the challenges in implementing control algorithms in Networked Control Systems (NCS), emphasizing the robust analysis necessary for the certification of digital controller implementations. It discusses the importance of modeling the implementation platform accurately and critiques traditional approaches that neglect the jitter and quantization effects that occur in practical scenarios. The study proposes methodologies for improving the robustness of digital controllers, outlines key algorithms for managing sampling and control update rates, and introduces a mathematical framework to evaluate the performance of such systems under realistic conditions.
