ARTICLE INFO ABSTRACT This research aim to identify what are factors affecting al-Madinah international university students from two different faculties , study mode some are online and some on-campus because nowadays E-learning management system are support education and it have been easy for learner to learn from his location anywhere and anytime and with improvement of the technology in education specially in 21 century still they are some factors affecting learners and this may be a technology or others factors And some they still using traditional classroom and some they emerge the technology with traditional classroom , the sample of the research are 101 students 31 from faculty of finance and 70 from faculty of information and communication technology and it test seven different factors which are usability, system support, service interaction, content or information quality, instructor interaction, practical lab or work experience and according to this factors most of student...

An Assessment Algorithm for Evaluating Students Satisfaction in e-Learning Environments: A Case Study

2020

The aim of this paper is to provide an overview of temporal and spatial properties of eLearning. Firstly, it describes the cognitive factors found both in e-Learning and traditional learning. Also, it gives a comparison between online and traditional learning process emphasizing advantages and disadvantages of both of these two learning processes. Next, it offers a short description of spatial thinking and spatial learning concepts. Also, it details time models and learning process and defines associative processes in temporal-spatial cognition. Finally, this paper gives a comprehensive analysis of temporal and spatial properties of e-Learning by describing the interactions of cognitive factors with traditional learning and online learning, spatial cognition and spatial thinking aspects, learning process and time models, defining associative processes in temporal-spatial cognition and it emphasizes the enhancing of skills acquisition regarding the spatial and temporal properties of ...

Students' Satisfaction from E-Learning System

International Journal of E-Adoption, 2014

The present study was conducted to explore the students' satisfaction level from Virtual University of Pakistan e-learning system. This paper aimed at bringing the underlying factors which determine and affect students' satisfaction from e-learning. The method adopted for the present study was survey. In order to measure students' satisfaction a questionnaire with 25 items was deployed. The sample of current study comprised 240 students from different study programs. Descriptive statistics, regression analysis and one sample t-test were applied to measure students' satisfaction from the system. Results showed that students prefer this system due to its teaching standards. Regression analysis explained interactivity pattern as an important indicator of overall satisfaction from the system. One sample t-test revealed that students were highly satisfied from e-learning system. The results concluded that unconventional mode of learning is as powerful tool of education as...

Assessing the Satisfaction of Students from E-learning System of Jazan University: Evidence from Partial Least Squares

2017

The main objective of the present paper is to determine the predictors of Students’ satisfaction about elearning system in Jazan University. The concept of satisfactions of learners in higher educational institutions made up the most significant indicator of the quality of education. The rising establishment of web portal and e-learning systems in all colleges posed the question of quality of learning through the usage of these systems. The issue of satisfaction of learners from e-learning has attracted the attention of several scholars and researchers to find out the factors affecting the quality of learning in higher educational institutions. The conduct of a questionnaire on 421 students from higher institutions of education belonging to the University of Jazan, allowed to highlight the importance of “Facilities and Infrastructure” and “Financial aid” as the most significant predictors of the satisfaction of students from e-learning system of Jazan.

Critical Factors Which Impact on Students' Satisfaction. A Study of e-learning Institutes of Pakistan

2019

E-learning is the rising phenomenon of delivering education to far off areas through the use of internet technology. This study was carried out on e-learning institutes of Pakistan to find out the influence of critical factors has on students' satisfaction? This research conducted by utilizing thirteen predictor variables under six dimensions (students', teachers,' technology, design, environmental and course) and their effect on criterion variable (Perceived e-learner satisfaction)-the data collected through a self-administered questionnaire. An aggregate of 250 questionnaires distributed among the students of e-learning institutes of Pakistan. The internal reliability of collected data checked through Cronbach alpha, and multiple regression analysis was utilized to test the hypotheses. The findings confirm that critical factors do influence on learners' satisfaction in e-learning institutes of Pakistan as the outcomes of the research demonstrate that eleven out of thirteen predictor variables had a significant impact on the criterion variable perceived e-learner satisfaction. The discoveries of current research would help the e-learning institutes of Pakistan in improving the standard of education and in launching new associated programs because, at the moment, they are offering minimal degree programs in the e-learning environment.

Determining e-learning success factor in higher education based on user perspective using Fuzzy AHP

MATEC Web of Conferences, 2018

Recently almost all universities in the world have implemented E-learning to support their academic system. Previous studies have been conducted to determine CSF using Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) method. However, AHP method cannot handle the uncertainty and vagueness of the human’s opinion, so then it causes less appropriate decision. Some researcher has proposed to use fuzzy sets theory with AHP to increase the ability of AHP to deal problem regarding the uncertainty/fuzziness. This study aims to determine ranks of priorities of the multiple factors which influence the E-learning success using FAHP method. The respondents consist of ten e-learning’s experts, 305 lecturers, and 4195 students at Sebelas Maret University. The result describes similar success factors ranking between both experienced and non-experienced user (lecturer and student). Then, the result shows that there are five most influencial success factors of e-learning at Sebelas Maret University based on the lect...

IDENTIFYING FACTORS THAT CONTRIBUTE TO THE SATISFACTION OF STUDENTS IN E-LEARNING

There has been an increasing interest in the application of e-learning through the enhancement of internet and computer technologies. Satisfaction has appeared as a key factor in order to develop efficient course content in line with students' demands and expectations. Thus, a lot of research has been conducted on the concept of satisfaction in electronic environments. Satisfaction has been seen to be the most significant variable on loyalty and usage intention in marketing and information science terms, which can also be highly related to academic success. In this regard, this study set out to investigate the effects of several variables on the learning processes of 930 e-learning students in the Sakarya University distance learning program. The findings of the research indicated that factors perceived playfulness, perceived ease of use and multimedia content effectiveness had a significant effect on perceived usefulness. Furthermore, it was concluded that satisfaction was affected by perceived usefulness, perceived playfulness and multimedia content effectiveness.

Exploring the Factors that Affect Student Satisfaction through Using E-Learning in Malaysian Higher Education Institutions Waleed Mugahed Al-rahmi

In the e-learning literature, learning satisfaction with e-learning systems has been addressed. In the present study, a model and an instrument were developed to measure students' satisfaction with e-learning systems. The study provided a description of the procedures employed in survey conceptualization, items generation, data collection and validation of multiple-item scale. It also confirmed reliability and discriminant validity of data for analysis gathered from a sample comprising 268 respondents. The researcher made use of the structural equation modeling (SEM) method with the SmartPLS program to shed a light on the adoption process. The model comprises of factors including content of e-learning, interface of e-learning, personalization of e-learning, community of e-learning, self-efficacy of e-learning, perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use and intention to use e-learning and their impact on the satisfaction of students. The model was developed on the basis of technology acceptance model (TAM) and the findings evidenced that the model is a robust theoretical tool employed to examine the acceptance of e-learning among students.
