Occupational health hazard is a very common term in every emerging country. Along with the unorganized sector, most organized sectors including government industries are suffering from this affliction. In addition to workload, the seasonal changes also have some impacts on working environment. Elevated stress has been widely associated with physical and physiological threats as well as reduced work performance. However, there is still a lack of studies that investigate whether stress influences concurrently physiological and objective work performance. The purpose of this study is to examine whether workers’ level of stress or negative emotional symptoms correlates with their physiological coherence and work performance. Eighteen female operators who reported high severity levels of stress, assessed using the Depression, Anxiety, and Stress Scale (DASS-42) were categorized as the risk group. The comparison group was formed by randomly selecting 18 of 99 female workers who had significantly lower DASS scores. Both participants attended one session of physiological measurement. Investigation Effect of Biorhythm on Work-Related Accidents in The Metal Industry (A Short Report
Biorhythm is one of the newest subjects in the field of cognition of mental ergonomics which can be very effective in reduction of work-related accidents or mistakes with no apparent reason. With evaluating Biorhythm individuals can intervention action to reduce job accidents carried out. Thus, the aim of this study was to determine the relationship Biorhythm and work-related accidents in the metal industry. This research is a cross-sectional and analytical-descriptive in the metal industrial Isfahan city of 120 work-related accidents during 2015. The required information was collected from available documents in HSE unit of the company biorhythm charts were drawn based on a date of accidents and participants birthdays, using natural Biorhythm Software V3.02 Conduct. Finally ، the data were analyzed using spss version 20 and descriptive statistics.This study showed that the frequency of accidents in critical days and negative section of physical cycle was more than expected. Also the frequency of accidents in critical days and negative section of emotional and intellectual cycles was less than expected. Most type of injury, including cuts to 35.8 percent and the lowest type of injury was torsion with 5 percent. Most limb injury, hands and fingers with 51.7 percent and the lowest limb injury were back at 2.5 percent. Accidents outbreak in physical cycles was 38.3 percent. These 120 accidents in additionally were causing 120 loss of working days in effect accident. Most percent of loss of working days were for 20 to 30 days with of 39.2 percent. Due to the physical nature of the work activities in the metal industry can be stated that the study showed that in physical work activities, frequency of accidents in critical days and negative section of physical cycle in which the person is not physically ready to do the job was more than expected. Therefore, by training and increasing the knowledge of workers regarding biological cycle and its effects on mental, emotional and physical status, each person effects can make some changes to their work plans during days that they do not feel well, physically or mentally, in order to prevent the likely accidents.
The Correlation between Physical Workload and the Increase in Workers’ Pulse Rate

Introduction: The workload that exceeds individual work capacity will increase the pulse rate rapidly. The purpose of this research was to study the correlation between physical workload and the increase in workers’ pulse rate. Methods: This research utilized cross-sectional design by using the observational method with 23 workers from the BRF area of PT X Sidoarjo as respondents. This research was conducted by conducting the direct observation by calculating the workload received by the worker by using %CVL method and calculating the resting and working heart rates. Results: The result showed that all workers were male and had the productive age distribution of 60.9% in the age range of 25-50 years. Based on the calculation of workload, the majority of workers have the workload on the moderate %CVL category, amounting to 56.5%. Physical and mental stress are a part of each work activity and have, in some way, an impact on human organism. The impact, they have, can become evident either immediately or after a longer period time. In the paper the authors present results of a research which aim was to assess total physical load, caused by the muscular effort of upper and lower limbs, large muscle groups and local muscular effort, while working with burdens. To collect the necessary research data, the Holter analyzer was used on a research sample of two employees working with cleaning components in a production hall. Based on the achieved findings the author formulate conclusions, incorporation of which into the ergonomic and organizational measures can significantly reduce potential negative effects of the monitored stressors.

Limited data exist informing how and to what extent construction activities impact worker health and productivity. This research explores the impact of construction activities and environmental factors on the health and productivity of five professional construction workers over a two week period as they worked to construct the concrete foundation of the Olympic Museum in Colorado Springs, Colorado, August 2017. The study collects and analyzes physiological data from the construction employees using off-the-shelf monitoring devices. Vital signs and physical indicators measured include factors related to cardiovascular stress, musculoskeletal stress, heart rate, breathing rate and core temperature. Introduction. The effects of the use of mobile henhouses and their equipment on the physical and mental stress of farmers in the organic egg production, and the reliability of the sensor-based detection of these in work processes are insufficiently known. There are neither measurement results nor key figures, according to operation and gender especially, available in the literature. Objective. The aim of this case study is to quantify the physical and mental stress of work processes on the basis of heart rate and the Baevsky Stress Index, as measured by the ECG-and activity sensor Movisens®, which is used mainly in the sports and rehabilitation sectors. To analyse the impact, daily routine work was divided into operations and the data collected for this purpose analysed descriptively and analytically. Conclusions. In summary, it can be concluded that measurement technology has the potential to capture the activityrelated exceedances of the endurance limit of the work severity by means of the heart rate reliably, to identify risk areas of employment and to quantify stress situations. The accuracy and reliability of data acquisition with Movisens® should be validated by a larger sample size and further measurements. In particular, the algorithm for calculating the data to quantify the mental and physical stress without movement needs to be improved significantly through further development.

The roster work system, which has day and night working hours for mine workers, can cause occupational stress. This study aims to examine the quality of working life and occupational stress. This is an observational research with cross sectional design. The samples were 107 workers based on probability by using simple random technique. The data instrument was a Likert scale, while the data analysis was used Pearson and linear regression. The average working life quality score was 61,71 covering aspects of job restructuring, reward system, labor force participation and occupational environment. The average occupational stress score was 55,48 which included biological stress, psychological stress and social stress. The test results show the effect (p = 0.012) with a correlation of-0,245 that the quality of work life is good, so occupational stress will decrease. It is expected that the work system of preventive assessment of worker health will be improved so that work productivity can be high.
