The Lie bialgebras of the (1+1) extended Galilei algebra are obtained and classified into four multiparametric families. Their quantum deformations are obtained, together with the corresponding deformed Casimir operators. For the coboundary cases quantum universal R-matrices are also given. Applications of the quantum extended Galilei algebras to classical integrable systems are explicitly developed.
Contractions of Poisson-Lie groups, Lie bialgebras and quantum deformations
Banach Center Publications, 1997
Contractions of Poisson-Lie groups are introduced by using Lie bialgebra contractions. As an application, contractions of SL(2, R) Poisson-Lie groups leading to (1+1) Poincaré and Heisenberg structures are analysed. It is shown how the method here introduced allows a systematic construction of the Poisson structures associated to non-coboundary Lie bialgebras. Finally, it is sketched how contractions are also implemented after quantization by using the Lie bialgebra approach.
Classical deformations, Poisson–Lie contractions, and quantization of dual Lie bialgebras
Journal of Mathematical Physics, 1995
A Poisson-Hopf algebra of smooth functions is simultaneously constructed on the two dimensional Euclidean, Poincare, and Heisenberg groups by using a classical r-matrix which is invariant under contraction. The quantization for this algebra of functions is developed, and its dual Hopf algebra is also computed. Contractions on these quantum groups are studied. It is shown that, within this setting, classical deformations are transformed into quantum ones by Hopf algebra duality and the quantum Heisenberg algebra is derived by means of a (dual) Poisson-Lie quantization that deforms the standard Moyal-Weyl ah-product. 0 1995 American Institute of Physics.
Quantization of SL(2,R)^* as Bialgebra
2002
We quantize the Poisson-Lie group SL(2,R)^* as a bialgebra using the product of Kontsevich. The coproduct is a deformation of the coproduct that comes from the group structure. The resulting bialgebra structure is isomorphic to the quantum universal enveloping algebra U_hsl(2,R).
Classification of real three-dimensional Lie bialgebras and their Poisson–Lie groups
Journal of Physics A-mathematical and General, 2005
Classical r-matrices of the three-dimensional real Lie bialgebras are obtained. In this way all three-dimensional real coboundary Lie bialgebras and their types (triangular, quasitriangular or factorizable) are classified. Then, by using the Sklyanin bracket, the Poisson structures on the related Poisson-Lie groups are obtained.
Cayley-Klein Lie Algebras and their Quantum Universal Enveloping Algebras
1994
The N-dimensional Cayley-Klein scheme allows the simultaneous description of 3N3^N3N geometries (symmetric orthogonal homogeneous spaces) by means of a set of Lie algebras depending on NNN real parameters. We present here a quantum deformation of the Lie algebras generating the groups of motion of the two and three dimensional Cayley-Klein geometries. This deformation (Hopf algebra structure) is presented in a compact form by using a formalism developed for the case of (quasi) free Lie algebras. Their quasitriangularity (i.e., the most usual way to study the associativity of their dual objects, the quantum groups) is also discussed.
Twist maps for non-standard quantum algebras and discrete Schrödinger symmetries
Journal of Physics A: Mathematical and General, 2000
The minimal twist map introduced by Abdesselam et al for the nonstandard (Jordanian) quantum sl(2, R) algebra is used to construct the twist maps for two different non-standard quantum deformations of the (1+1) Schrödinger algebra. Such deformations are, respectively, the symmetry algebras of a space and a time uniform lattice discretization of the (1 + 1) free Schrödinger equation. It is shown that the corresponding twist maps connect the usual Lie symmetry approach to these discrete equations with non-standard quantum deformations. This relationship leads to a clear interpretation of the deformation parameter as the step of the uniform (space or time) lattice.
