Linguistic Conversion of Syntactic to Semantic Web page

Information is knowledge. In earlier days one has to find a resource person or resource library to acquire knowledge. But today just by typing a keyword on a search engine all kind ofresources are available to us. Due to this mere advancement there are trillions of information available on net. So, in this era we are in need of search engine which also search with us by understanding the semantics of given query by the user. One such design is only possible only if we provide semantic to our ordinary HTML web page. In this paper we have explained the concept of converting an HTML page to RDFS/OWL page. This technique is incorporated along with natural language technology as we have to provide the Hyponym and Meronym of the given HTML pages.

Developing Semantic Rich Web Search Engine

The amount and variety of information on the World Wide Web (Web) is increasing in an unstructured way. This makes navigation and retrieval of information a difficult and sometimes frustrating process. For instance, Web search engines are becoming less effective as the documents available on the Web proliferate and users' queries return hundreds of links. Users may become lost or frustrated because navigation is unintuitive and semantic meanings are not used to evaluate the relevance of the links, most of which may be unrelated to what the user wants. Gathering useful and interesting information from the Web or discovering knowledge from hypertext data is a problem that may be solved by implementing measures to make Web information understandable by a Web search engine or other types of software [8]. The main idea of this paper is to show current state of the Semantic Web concept. The large growth in the volume of data and with the extreme growth of web pages, today's search engines are not suitable anymore. Search engines play important role in the success of the Web. Search engine helps the users to find the relevant information on the internet. Due to many problems in traditional search engines has led to the development of semantic web. Semantic web technologies are playing a crucial role in enhancing traditional search, as it work to create machines readable data and focus on metadata. However, it will not replace traditional search engines. In the environment of semantic web, search engine should be more useful and efficient for searching the relevant web information.
