The Asia Africa Institute at Hamburg University is hosting a series of online presentations focusing on recent and ongoing research projects in Islamic Studies. The presentations cover a range of topics, including the history of reading and document preservation in medieval Jerusalem, the archival practices surrounding Islamic documents, and contemporary bioethical debates in Muslim societies regarding beginning of life issues. Each session consists of a 30-minute presentation followed by 30 minutes of Q&A.
