2021, Educational implications of emotional intelligence in the society of knowledge.

Abstract

Every day, existing technologies improve, the speed of informationprocessing increases, information storage capacity increases, computercomponents are miniaturized, and new, surprising and increasingly powerfulcomputing and technological equipment appears. But all this, which shouldarouse our interest and curiosity, frightens and alienates many, who thinkand believe that computing is something extremely complicated and totallyout of their reach. Although learning computing may require a great deal ofeffort, the advantages to be gained from mastering computationaltechniques are invaluable. It is necessary not to forget that computing by itself does not necessarilyconstitute an educational means, which is why today it is possible to speakof Educational Computing, and from it, of the emergence of new learningand knowledge technology (LKT), which seek to go beyond computing, accessing enhanced and improved educational processes through the useof current technologies.
