New exact traveling wave solutions for double Sine–Gordon equation
Applied Mathematics and Computation, 2015
Under the assumption that u 0 is a function form of e inu , this paper presents a new set of traveling-wave solutions with JacobiAmplitude function for the generalized form of the double Sine-Gordon equation u tt ¼ ku xx þ 2a sinðnuÞ þ b sinð2nuÞ. The presented solutions are compared to previous ones which are derived from Tanh method and other variable separated method. We find that some special case of the proposed solutions (fixing the integral constant to a particular value) involve in some previous results presented in Wazwaz (2006).

In this paper, the G ′ G expansion method with the aid of computer algebraic system Maple, is proposed for seeking the travelling wave solutions for the a class of nonlinear pseudoparabolic equations. The method is straightforward and concise, and it be also applied to other nonlinear pseudoparabolic equations. We studied mostly important four nonlinear pseudoparabolic physical models : the Benjamin-Bona-Mahony-Peregrine-Burger(BBMPB) equation, the Oskolkov-Benjamin-Bona-Mahony-Burgers(OBBMB) equation, the one-dimensional Oskolkov equation and the generalized hyperbolic-elastic-rod wave equation.

In this paper, the (G/G) -expansion method is applied to seek traveling wave solutions to the double sinh-Gordon and the generalized form of the double sinh-Gordon equations. With the aid of a symbolic computation system, two types of more general traveling wave solutions (including hyperbolic functions and trigonometric functions) with free parameters are constructed. Solutions concerning solitary and periodic waves are also given by setting the two arbitrary parameters, involved in the traveling waves, as special values.
New Travelling Wave Solutions for Sine-Gordon Equation
Journal of Applied Mathematics, 2014
We propose a method to deal with the general sine-Gordon equation. Several new exact travelling wave solutions with the form ofJacobiAmplitudefunction are derived for the general sine-Gordon equation by using some reasonable transformation. Compared with previous solutions, our solutions are more general than some of the previous.
Exact Traveling Wave Solutions of Some Nonlinear Equations Using ( G ′ G )-expansion Method methods
2012
In this paper, we find the exact solutions of some nonlinear evolution equations by using ( ′ G )expansion method. Four nonlinear models of physical significance i.e. the symmetric regularized longwave equation, the Klein-Gordon-Zakharov equations, the Burgers-Kadomtsev-Petviashvili equation and the nonlinear Schrödinger equation with a cubic nonlinearity are considered and obtained their exact solutions. From the general solutions, other well known results are also derived.
