The pandemic of Coronavirus has influenced all levels of education in the whole world. This impact forces the Ministry of Education to switch from traditional education to online education. As a result, educators must run this policy to teach the classroom and students must adapt to this situation. This research aimed to find out students’ perception of online learning during the Coronavirus pandemic. This research employed the qualitative design and used the survey method to distribute the questionnaires. The object of this research was twenty-seven students of the English Department, University of Muhammadiyah Aceh. The obtained data was analyzed through descriptive analysis to see how online class is perceived by students during the pandemic. The problem and the aim of the study. WHO has determined that COVID-19 is a pandemic, because it has become epidemic in all corners of the world. The effect of the spread of this pandemic, learning must change from the habits that have been done so far, such as learning is done online using several platforms as learning media. For more than two years, COVID-19 has been declared a pandemic, although until now signs of the spread of COVID-19 have decreased, but who has not lowered the level from pandemic to endemic. For more than two years the learning was also conducted online, causing many problems for students. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the implementation of online learning that has been carried out during the two years of the COVID pandemic. Three parts are examined in this study, namely the obstacles faced by students when carrying out online learning, student strategies to overcome these obstacles, and how students expect online learning to continue. Research methods. This research is qualitative research with the type of case study. Respondents in this study were 795 students in Indonesia. The instrument used in this study was 12 open questions which were divided into 5 parts, namely: respondent's identity, confirmation that the university had implemented online learning, obstacles faced by students, solutions made by students, and student expectations. This instrument is given online via a Google Forms. The data that has been obtained, then grouped into 4 groups with the help of Nvivo, then interpreted and described by the researcher. Results. The results showed that 83% experienced problems when online learning was implemented during the COVID-19 pandemic that hit Indonesia for 2 years. The majority of obstacles faced by students include inadequate internet network, equipment used, high internet quota, communication methods, too many assignments, and difficulty understanding the material presented. In conclusion, the implementation of online learning, students experience various obstacles. It was recorded that of 795 respondents, there were 83% experienced problems when implementing online learning. The application of online learning was carried out massively during the Covid-19 pandemic. Its implementation certainly raises many new things, especially for areas with minimal internet access. This study aims at describing the types of problems experienced by students while participating in online learning, online learning media that students prefer, and evaluation of the implementation of online learning according to students at the Indonesian Muslim University during the Covid-19 pandemic. The COVID-19 pandemic has affected how online learning is delivered and has become a serious worldwide health concern. This study sought to determine the opportunities and challenges of online learning faced by the undergraduate students of Central Mindanao University during the pandemic. To address this problem, a mixed research approach was used, combining a qualitative (narrative) and a quantitative non-experimental descriptive approach. The study found that the CMU students' opportunities for online learning are enhanced technical skills; avail learning resources from anywhere in the world, developed self-discipline, improved virtual classroom interaction, flexibility and time management, reduced educational cost, drive for self-motivation and lenient quality education were deemed to be beneficial. Online learning strengthened the students to analyze the subject matters thoroughly while responding in writing instead of discussing and freely picking and choosing from diverse learning approaches. However, its weaknesses are the critical communication gap between students and teachers, lack of focus, lack of social support, unhealthy online learning environment, lack of social support, technological constraints, and lack of time management. The challenges of online learning are slow and no internet connection, self-discipline, unhealthy online learning environment, fewer interactions with teachers and classmates, heavy workloads, dealing with subjects with laboratories, resistance to online learning, mental health, emotional and psychological anxieties, depression and financial constraints are found to be the challenges and barriers in online learning.
Student Perceptions of Online Learning During the COVID-19 Pandemic

Online learning has been chosen to be applied in all tertiary institutions in Indonesia; this also applies to IAIN Takengon. Student perception is one of the determinants of the success of the learning that is carried out. The purpose of writing this article is to find out how students' perceptions of online learning have been implemented and the factors that influence these perceptions. The research method used is an online survey using google form. The results showed that students' perceptions of online learning were not very good; this was caused by several factors, such as poor internet access, burdensome internet quota, difficulty communicating with lecturers, so students were not ready to use applications when online learning was carried out. There needs to be much improvement in the online learning system implemented; this indicates that universities are not ready to carry out online lectures.

The pandemic of COVID-19 has forced the Indonesian government through its Ministry of Education and Culture to implement policies moving conventional classroom to online classroom. The current study is a collective case study consisting of analysis of survey on students' perceptions of their online learning during the pandemic. Sixty-six students of English Language Education Study Program at Pamane Talino College of Education (STKIP Pamane Talino) were involved. Their perception s of their online classroom that were recorded through a survey. The recorded perceptions are in terms of students' participation, accessibility, material and assignment delivery, and the use of e-learning platforms. The results were then summarized into tables and narrative descriptions. The study identified three major obstacles in conducting online learning in English Language Education Study Program at STKIP Pamane Talino: the first is availability and sustainability of internet connection, the second is accessibility of the teaching media, and the last is the compatibility of tools to access the media. The result of the current study suggests that accessibility is still the major factor influencing the success of online learning. Online learning for English Language Education Study Program at STKIP Pamane Talino, and potentially Indonesia in general, requires some more friendly platforms so that students' participation can be increased. This is especially for students who reside in rural areas with limited internet connections and other support systems.
