Permasalahan rendahnya kinerja mengajar guru yang disebabkan oleh kurang efektifnya supervisi akademik kepala sekolah dan motivasi kerja guru. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengukur pengaruh supervisi akademik kepala sekolah dan motivasi kerja guru terhadap kinerja mengajar guru. Metode penelitian: analisis deskriptif, pendekatan kuantitatif, teknik analisis menggunakan korelasi product moment, determinasi dan regresi. Pengumpulan data melalui angket. Populasi dalam penelitian ini yaitu guru-guru SMK Negeri di Kota Bandung, sedangkan unit analisis menggunakan pengambilan sampel dengan teknik probability sampling. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa supervisi akademik kepala sekolah terhadap kinerja mengajar guru berkorelasi positif sangat kuat. Motivasi kerja guru terhadap kinerja mengajar guru berkorelasi positif sangat kuat. Supervisi akademik kepala sekolah dan motivasi kerja guru terhadap kinerja mengajar guru secara simultan berkorelasi positif sangat kuat. Kesimpulannya, terdapat pengaruh positif yang signifikan antara supervisi akademik kepala sekolah dan motivasi kerja guru terhadap kinerja mengajar guru. Rekomendasi: Meningkatkan motivasi kerja guru dengan melakukan supervisi klinis, kunjungan kelas, pembicaraan individual dan diskusi kelompok untuk membahas permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh guru.

The objective of the research is to describe of academic supervision in improving the teachers’ performance of Public Elementary school 6 Ketahun North Bengkulu. The method of this research was descriptive qualitative method. The data collecting technique used interview, observation and documentation. The data analysis technique was done by reducing the data, presenting the data, and drawing conclusion. The results of this research showed that (1) planning of academic supervision was by coordinating with senior teachers; (2) implementating of academic supervision was done by visiting class and observation; (3) monitoring was done by pre- visiting class and post visiting class. Supervisi adalah bantuan yang diberikan kepada seluruh staf sekolah untuk mengembangkan situasi belajar dan mengajar lebih baik.Kegiatan supervisi sangat penting bagi guru,karena dengan adanya kegiatan supervisi maka seorang guru dapat mengetahui dimana letak kelemahannya dan bisa memperbaiki kinerjanya kedepan demi tercapainya tujuan pendidikan,karena guru mempunyai peranan yag penting maka seorang guru harus mempunyai kinerja yang baik,kinerja yang baik adalah ketika seorang guru telah melaksanakan tugas dan tanggungjawabnya serta telah mampu mencapai tujuan standard yang telah ditetapkan.

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh supervisi akademik kepala sekolah dan komitmen guru terhadapkinerja guru di SMP Negeri 2 dan 3 Tanjunganom Nganjuk. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kuantitatif dengan jumlah respondent penelitian ini 81 guru di SMP 2 dan 3 Tanjunganom Nganjuk. Analisis data menggunakan teknik korelasi dan regresi berganda. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah pengaruh supervisi akademik kepala sekolah (x1) terhadap kinerja guru (Y) adalah sebesar 0,000˂0,05 T hitung 4,964 >Ttabel 1,98. Pengaruh komitmen guru (x2) terhadap kinerja guru (Y) adalah sebesar 0,045 ˂0,05 dan nilai Thitung 2,041 > Ttabel1,98. Pengaruh supervisi akademik kepala sekolah x1 dan Komitmen guru x2 terhadap Kinerja Guru (Y) secara simultan adalah sebesar 0,000 ˂ 0,05 dan nilai Fhitungl14,376 > Ftabel 3,08. This research was a case where the result of observation researcher at Elementary School in Kecamatan Enam Lingkung that shows the low level of teacher performance. Many factors that affect teacher performances among which are academic supervision and pedagogical competence. The purpose of this research are to know about: (1) contribution of academic supervision to teacher performance, (2) contribution of pedagogical competence to teachers performance, and (3) contribution of academic supervision and pedagogical competence are jointly to teachers performance. The method of this study is quantitative research with 157 teachers. Sample in this research has taken by the use stratified proportional random sampling method, total sample in this research are 78 teachers. Instrument in this research using questionnaire and test. The results of the analysis data show that (1) academic supervision contributes significantly to teachers of 44%, (2) pedagogical competence contributes significantly to teachers 12,1 %, and (3) academic supervision and pedagogical competence are jointly make a significant contribution to teachers performance of 44,2%, so the conclusion of this research are that hypothesis acceptable empirically and academic supervision and pedagogical competence variable are two factors that contribute to the teacher performance and 55,8% of the remaining influence by another factors.

This study aimed at investigating the implementation of academic supervision by principals, from the planning, implementation, and follow-up. Academic supervision gave impact on teachers performance. Teachers evaluations will be seen from the lesson plan, the implementation of instruction, assessment of learners and the follow-up. To achieve these objectives, we used quantitative approach. Data were collected through observation and questionnaires using Likert scale. The analysis used was simple regression analysis. The results showed there was significant correlation between the academic supervision by principals towards the teachers performance. If the academic supervision increases, the teachers performance will also increase.

One effort to improve teacher professional quality is through academic supervision. The implementation of academic supervision needs to be carried out systematically by the principal, aiming to provide guidance to teachers so that they can carry out their duties effectively and efficiently. The implementation of supervision is not to find fault with the teacher but the implementation of supervision is basically the process of providing assistance services to teachers to improve the teaching and learning process conducted by teachers in improving the quality of learning outcomes. Planned, systematic and directed academic supervision is expected to improve teacher quality. The realization of these goals is not an easy thing. This is because the actualization of the teacher's ability depends on various components of the education system that collaborate with each other. And of course the role of the principal as a supervisor in the school where his assignment must be maximized.

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh supervisi akademik kepala sekolah dan profesionalisme guru terhadap mutu pendidikan sekolah dasar negeri di Kabupaten Purwakarta. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode deskritif. Data dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan instrumen kuesioner yang dikembangkan oleh peneliti. Keseluruhan data penelitian dianalisis dengan menggunakan analisis regresi. Penentuan responden menggunakan stratified random sampling yaitu pengambilan data dengan memperhatikan strata yang ada dari seluruh populasi menjadi responden penelitian yaitu berjumlah 98 orang guru. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan supervisi akademik kepala sekolah terhadap mutu pendidikan sebesar 30,9%.
