The Impact of Telecom Services Characteristics on Consumer for Use in Pakistan
The aim of this paper is to investigate the impact of factors like consumer perception, advanced telecomm services, ease of use, low cost and quality towards use of telecom services in Pakistan, with the specific objectives of to develop the technology acceptance model and investigate the role of these factors for adoption of telecom services in Pakistan. The study was based on primary data which was collected from 172 respondents by means of a questionnaire. Random Sampling Technique was applied and Statistical tool SPSS was used to check the correlation analysis in order to reveal the results of the research. Correlation analysis shows the significant, positive, negative, strong and weak relationship among the variables with the significant value ranges from 0.01 to 0.05. In this research there is positive and significant relationship among all the variables. The findings and recommendation of this research will help the managers to develop a deeper insight of research factors into product development and restructure their strategies to capture maximum potential customers.

Earlier there were only few options available with the customers in the form of Idea, Vodafone, Bharti Airtel, BSNL and other Small players operating in few selected territories only. Competition has become intense as it is very much difficult for the telecom players to retain the customers. In present time companies may survive if they are able to provide quality service to customers. However service quality in telecom industry has so many dimensions and different authors have tried to elaborate it over the period of time. Customers make purchases in order to satisfy needs. Some of these needs are basic and must be filled by everyone on the planet while others are not required for basic survival and vary depending on the person. It probably makes more sense to classify needs that are not a necessity as wants or desires .Knowing why and how people consume products helps marketers to understand that how to improve existing products, what types of products are needed in the market place, or how to attract consumers to buy their products. In essence, consumer behaviour analysis helps the firms to know about how to please the king and directly impact company revenues. The current study is an attempt to examine the factors influencing buying behaviour of the customers in Telecom Sector. After applying factor analysis, various influential factors have been extracted.
Consumer Behaviour Towards Mobile Service Providers
India is the largest democracy in the world. Ever since Indian economy underwent series of reforms from 1991, there have been progressive steps of Information Technology and Telecom Sector. So the consumer behavior is gaining importance now days for corporate manager. They consider all the aspect of consumer behavior while formulating the marketing strategies. Satisfaction reflects person judgments of a product perceived performance in relationship with expectations. Information Technology has changed the present socio economic environment enormously. The expanded horizon of telecommunications has led to the substantial increase in mobile services. The present study assesses the consumer's awareness and attitude towards different mobile service providers' on the basis of services and facilities in Bhubaneswar city which is a challenge and opportunity for the service provider also. The paper aims at studying the consumer satisfaction and its future impact on socioeconomic changes.
IRJET-CUSTOMER PERCEPTION TOWARDS MOBILE SERVICES – A CASE STUDY OF BSNL IN BHAVANI TOWN
Telecom is one of the fastest-growing industries in India and as the second largest market in the world. The BSNL is one pioneer and the largest segment in the telecom industry. Customer perception is the primary goal of every business organization. As the rapid changing business scenario for the entire transaction activities begins and ends with the customer. This study aims to focus that to identify the perception level of the customers on BSNL mobile service provider. So, it is very essential for the service provider to understand the influence of various Demographic variables that influence the perception and satisfaction level to win the hearts of the customers. For the purpose, a survey based descriptive research design adopted to conduct for this study in Bhavani Town. The Simple Random Sampling Method is used to collect data and to be collected from 91 sample respondents through a structured questionnaire. The data has classified and analyzed using percentage analysis, cross tabulation and chi-square analysis. The study find that demographic perception of the respondents were identified their choosing in the mobile service provider. The demographic factor does not influence the perception of the respondents in the BSNL mobile service provider. The study concludes that the service provided by BSNL is at the satisfactory level to the respondents. BSNL should focus on the promotional measures competitive to the private sector service providers, to enhance their service activity for the satisfaction of the customers.

The study assessed customer perceptions of cellular phone services (five), attributes/features (twelve) and factors (four) impacting on selection/preference. The empirical study was undertaken in KwaZulu-Natal and comprised of 476 cell phone subscribers, drawn using the multi-stage sampling technique. Data was collected using a self-developed, closed-ended, precoded questionnaire, the reliability of which was assessed using Cronbach's coefficient alpha. Data was analysed using descriptive and inferential statistics. The results indicate that the most important cell phone service is the short messaging/multi-media systems and the most important attribute is the battery life. Other significant services and attributes/features were also noted. The factor having the greatest influence on selection/preference of the cell phone was related to having the latest technology. Age reflected the most significant biographical correlates whilst gender differences were not noted. The key findings were graphically depicted in a flowchart and recommendations were made in terms of market segmentation, product design, product development and, promotional and marketing strategies.

Nowadays, telecommunication business is in maturity phase. Meanwhile, Indonesia is open market to telecommunication service provider. Indonesia has many telecommunication provider companies. The competition makes service provider compete to acquire customer. Learning customer behavior is one way to acquire customer. By knowing customer behavior, company can know formulate product or service that offered. This study used statistic approach which is conducted in Medan, North Sumatera. The result of this paper show that brand, network and distribution have significant relation to customer preference while choose service provider. Tariff, promotion and relation have not significant effect to customer behavior while choose service provider. This paper to know customer behavior intention while choose telecommunication service provider.

Building a competitive brand is a key success specially in banking industry. This paper presents a study to investigate important factors influencing brand loyalty among special customers in one of biggest Iranian banks in Iran. The study designs a questionnaire and distributes it among 249 regular customers who are special customers in various banks in city of Tehran, Iran. The study uses structural equation modeling to find important factors and they are ranked using TOPSIS method. In our study, Cronbach alpha has been calculated as 0.815 and there are eight influencing factors including flexibility in offering various services, building good relationship with customers, technology and processes, customers' experiences, brand identity in continuous advertisement, organization size, customer perception on reputation of brand and customers' tendency to build better brand loyalty. In our survey, flexibility in offering various services received the highest rank followed by building good relationship with customers.

The primary objective of the study is to find out and analyze the customer perceptions on cellular phone services in India. Cellular phones are become the part of the life and the various barriers in the obtaining and usage of cellular services are lack of awareness, cost factor, perceptions of the customers on cellular phones etc. In addition the service quality, customer care, market competition brings lot of instability and reliability of the services. In turn it makes further confusion among the users. It paves an opportunity of providing limited services in the selective areas. It leads to a wide gap in the service quality and reliability between the urban and semi urban areas. It gives an opportunity to the researcher to survey on the facts and perceptions of the cellular phone users to find out the real situation and to suggest appropriate suggestions to overcome the issues in the market expansion and to improve the service quality of the cellular phone services in the sample area. To do this, the researcher selects a comparative approach. The data is collected by preparing a structured questionnaire and collected from the cellular phone users in the sample area. The study centered, in comparing the customers perceptions towards cellular phone services provided by the different operators in the states of India. The customers are from both urban and semi-urban places of India. In addition, customers were also classified on the basis of the type of services usage (i.e., post paid or pre paid). The basic parameters used for the purpose of comparing their perceptions are purpose of usage. The study has taken the demographic factors of respondents for analysis.
