The goals of less varied learning models lead to low activity and student learning outcomes, so creative and innovative learning models are needed. The aim of the study is to analyze the application of project-based learning models in improving high school students' learning activities. This study is a class action study. The data collection method used is to use the method of literature study. With this, researchers take data and references from trusted journals that help the author in completing the data in the study. The data obtained is then poured in sub-causes so as to explain the formulation of the researcher's problem. So it can be concluded that the application of PjBL learning model can improve the activeness and learning outcomes of high school students. The implication of this research is to gain learning experience related to the skills of applying the scientific method in problem solving and encourage critical thinking patterns for students.
