PurposeThe paper aims to clarify the relationship between perceived contextual issues and the self-efficacy beliefs of the employees with e-learning engagement for their competency development. It proposes a model for the banks to utilize their e-learning interventions more effectively by managing the identified contextual issues. Simultaneously, this study aims to expand the domain of self-efficacy beliefs and apply its principles to dilute the impact of the negative contextual issues which were not addressed through similar research.Design/methodology/approachThe paper focuses on an exploratory study using a deductive approach grounded on self-efficacy – one of the main dimensions of Bandura's social cognitive theory. It adopted a mixed methodology, and primary data were collected through an online survey (792 responses analyzed through Statistical Package Social Science [SPSS]) and semi-structured interviews (20 respondents analyzed through thematic analysis). The population ...

This study was conducted to determine the effect of self-efficacy on employee performance and work motivation, and work involvement in mediating the effect of self-efficacy on employee performance of manufacturing companies in DKI Jakarta. The sample in this study amounted to 100 respondents. This study uses quantitative descriptive analysis techniques. The analysis method in this study uses Path Analysis using SmartPLS. The results of the analysis in this study are: (1) self-efficacy has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, (2) work motivation mediates positively and significantly the relationship between self-efficacy and employee performance, and (3) work involvement mediates positively and significantly the relationship between self-efficacy and employee performance. This study appraises the mediating effect of self-efficacy on the relationship between employee engagement and performance among selected private schools in Jos Metropolis of Plateau state, Nigeria. 141 questionnaires were administered with respondents selected through non-probability sampling method. The Social Cognitive Theory was the anchor for the study while Multiple regression method was used to evaluate the data with the aid of statistical packages for social science (SPSS) and Structural equation modeling based on Analysis of Moment Structure (AMOS v.21). The finding in the study shows that employee engagement has a significant relationship with employee performance (β = .249, r = .058, P < .001) and also exposed that employee engagement has a significant relationship with self-efficacy at (β =-.183, r =-.064, P < .028) while self-efficacy has no significant relationship with performance at (β =-.043, r =-.091, P < .558). In addition, self-efficacy plays a mediating role in the relationship. Finally, the result shows a significant corollary for organisations and policymakers if applied will aid reward behaviours that enhances social change in a constructive way through a prolific labour force. .

International Journal of Research in Business and Social Science (2147- 4478)
The study aims to examine the effect of computer and internet self-efficacy on the job satisfaction of employees. To support and establish the theories of the study, literature was reviewed. The study used descriptive assessment and correlational research design and questionnaires were used to gather the data. The population of the study was all employees composed of teaching and non-teaching personnel. The study found that the computer and internet self-efficacy of employees was high and their job satisfaction. Based on Mult r regression analysis, it was found that taken together, computer and internet self-efficacy affects the job satisfaction of employees. Taken singly, it was the only computer that predicted the job satisfaction of employees. In other words, knowing both computers and the internet at the same time can affect employees’ capability to perform their work and job satisfaction.

The rapid development of information technology today requires teaching staff or teachers to be able to achieve successful learning based on skills in using information technology and media. In addition to mastering information technology in learning, there needs to be organizational support that will later convince them in teaching, and meet the learning achievement standards set. This study aims to analyze and explain the role of digital literacy and organizational support in determining self-efficacy, as well as their effect on teacher performance at Lentera Kasih School. This study employs a quantitative methodology and polls all of the 109 instructors that work at Lentera Kasih Schools in Bali, Jakarta, and Makassar. While the study's samples were all drawn from the general community. The SEM-PLS study demonstrates that the rise in teachers' self-efficacy is influenced by both organizational support and digital literacy. While digital literacy does not directly affect teacher performance, both organizational support and self-efficacy have a direct positive and considerable impact. Digital literacy can significantly affect teachers' performance if self-efficacy is used as a mediator.

The so-called "fourth industrial revolution" that is developing at an exponential pace today is characterized by several new technologies, such as robotics, artificial intelligence, and the Internet of Things (IoT). Especially in Indonesia's telecommunications industry, there is a change in the use of telecommunications services with a greater need to provide innovative data services. This research aimed to investigate the relationship among transformational leadership, innovative work behavior, performance, and digital literacy (as a moderator of the relationship between innovative work behavior and performance). This illustrates how innovation in technology can serve as a core element to drive the competitiveness of a company, especially in high-tech industries. The role of innovation is becoming increasingly significant and can determine the survival and growth of a company. This study surveyed 230 managerial-level and above employees from three telecommunication companies in Indonesia. Structural equation modeling (SEM) was performed with LISREL to analyze the data in this quantitative research. The results showed that there was a significant and positive relationship between transformational leadership and innovative work behavior, innovative work behavior was also significantly and positively related to performance, and digital literacy significantly moderated the relationship between innovative work behavior and performance.
Digital literacy self-efficacy scale: A scale development study
African Educational Research Journal, 2021
This study aims to develop a scale in order to determine the digital literacy self-efficacy level of primary school students. In line with this purpose, firstly, open-ended questions, which were created and asked for opinions on digital literacy, were directed to field experts and primary school teachers. The draft scale form was created as a result of the responses to open-ended questions and the literature review was presented to the field experts and the items in the draft scale were finalized in the line with the feedback. The draft scale form was applied to a total of 175 4 grade students studying in the central district of Afyonkarahisar in the 2019-2020 academic year determined by purposeful methods. The data were analyzed by Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA) and it resulted in a structure with 21 items and four subdimensions named ‘Collaboration in Digital Environments’, ‘Emotion Management in Digital Environments’, ‘Information Management in Digital Environments’ and ‘Aware...
