Contributions du SIG et de la Télédétection à la Corrélation Entre le NDVI et la Pluviométrie Pour L'étude de la Variabilité Climatique Dans le Bassin de Tahaddart (Rif, Maroc) (original) (raw)
Abstract
Data from multi-temporal reflectance from optical sensors are integrated into a Geographic Information System (GIS) for monitoring vegetation with NDVI and its classification at the Tahaddart watershed (northwestern Rif, Morocco), during the winter season (high rainfall), spring and summer (low or no rainfall). The average values of this index vary according to wet seasons and dry seasons. The NDVI values classification shows that the forest zone of the Tahaddart basin central part doesn't show significant changes in the area. For this basin, a well-marked link has been highlighted in the annual change in NDVI and rainfall especially during the rainy season with an average linear correlation coefficient of 0.7268. These data show that climate variability is generally a key factor in the evolution of vegetation cover
