The Implementation of 2013 curriculum is associated with The Decree of State Human Resource Empowerment Ministry No. 16 RB. Positive strategic steps need to be done to prepare students and teachers to implement 2013 curriculum in terms of designing scientific learning models based on PP 103 in 2014. This research was aimed at describing the scientific learning models applicative design to implement the 2013 curriculum for low-grade primary school students. This research was done in two stages, which are, designing scientific learning models of elementary school based on curriculum 2013 and implementing scientific learning models to students of grade 1,2,3 of Ma'arif Islamic International primary School in Blitar using a model teacher trained by the Primary School Teacher Undergraduate Program of State University of Malang. This research turned out to show that the practical activities and comprehensive training on designing the wake scientific approach teaching model to implement the 2013 primary school curriculum are able to improve the teachers' competence as well as teacher trainees' competence. Research-Based Learning Model for Senior High School Science Instruction
Psychology and Education: A Multidisciplinary Journal , 2022
Research-Based Learning (RBL) is a feasible way to improve the learning of students and to refine learning thru doing. It is an instructional system that uses genuine learning, problem-solving, interactive learning, hands-on, and inquiry-discovery approaches driven by constructivist logic. This study portrayed the effects of research-based learning model for senior high school science instruction and employed the quasi-experimental method of research. The respondents were the grade 12 STEM students of Bitoon National Vocational High School S.Y. 2020-2021 randomly assigned as control and experimental group respectively while the research data were collected using test and survey questionnaire. Frequency of Correct Responses, Percentage formula, and Weighted Mean were used for academic performance, weighted mean for learning experience, Paired t-test formula for the significant difference in respondents' pretest and post-test scores, and independent t-test formula obtained the significant difference between the mean gains of each of the aforementioned groups. Paired t-test results revealed improved performance for both groups with majority of the improvements of the experimental groups were in the higher-order thinking skills (HOTS). Also, the experimental group expressed fondness of RBL that motivated them to learn science and find RBL an effective and efficient way to learn science. In conclusion, RBL can enhance students' performance level as there was a significant difference in the academic performance ruled by independent t-test result. It was highly recommended to implement RBL in a face-to-face setting for those who desire to conduct similar studies in the future.
—This research intended to develop a prototype of teaching and learning materials on natural science topic of junior high school. The development of learning materials was conducted by using Dick and Carey's Research & Development model. Teaching and learning materials are included syllabus, lesson plan, worksheet, student's book, test of learning outcome. This study is a deep evaluation to find weakness of prototype from the student's perspective and enhancements to make it better. Research subjects were 32 junior high students taken by simple random sampling. Data collection technique was observation of student's activity and evaluation of worksheets. The instruments included questionnaire, observation sheets and students' worksheets. The result showed that the semi-summative evaluation of the prototype was success to create a feasible prototype. Teachers can apply well, but students had a bit of difficulties. It was concluded that the weakness of the teaching and learning material prototype from the viewpoint of the students are activities work to do problem solving strategies on the experiment. The teaching and learning material prototype still needs to be enriched in terms of operational definitions of concepts, the tools, and tool laboratory functions as well as a glossary.

This study aims to produce science learning modules with Problem Solving methods that will be used in science learning plant breeding materials, can implement the science learning module Problem-Solving methods and describe the learning outcomes of plant breeding materials using method Problem-Solving in State Elementary School 03 of Hulu Sungai in Ketapang Regency. This research is the development of science learning method using Problem-Solving method by using the development phase of R & D Research adopted by Borg and Gall with module design using ADDIE model, with the research subject is class VI involved 16 students Data obtained through expert design validation questionnaire, expert media materials and experts, interviews, student response questionnaires, and documentation. Furthermore, data analysis is conducted qualitatively and quantitatively.
Content analysis of science material in junior school-based inquiry and science process skills
Journal of Physics: Conference Series, 2018
The purpose of this research is to obtain the characteristic map of science material content in Junior School which can be optimized using inquiry learning model to tone the science process skill. The research method used in the form of qualitative research on SMP science curriculum document in Indonesia. Documents are reviewed on the basis of the basic competencies of each level as well as their potential to trace the skills of the science process using inquiry learning models. The review was conducted by the research team. The results obtained, science process skills in grade 7 have the potential to be trained using the model of inquiry learning by 74%, 8th grade by 83%, and grade 9 by 75%. For the dominant process skills in each chapter and each level is the observing skill. Follow-up research is used to develop instructional inquiry tools to trace the skills of the science process.

Science learning requires direct experience in order to develop the ability to explore and understand the natural surroundings scientifically. So far in elementary school at Bukittinggi, the process of learning science only memorizes facts, principles or theories. In science learning, students are not involved in finding or applying their own ideas and they do not instill the values contained in the learning. The science learning process in classroom is not yet fully in accordance with the demands of the curriculum. The teacher provides more material in the textbook without relating it to students' daily problems that are in accordance with the material, thus causing less interesting in learning. The teacher also has not actively involved all students in learning and emphasizes learning only on students who are smarter. The purpose of this study was to increase the activity and learning outcomes of science learning by using a problem-based learning model in SDN 11 Aur Kuning Buk...

The Nature of Science or NOS is knowledge that explains how science works and how scientists conduct research. NOS has aspects of form, namely products, processes and properties. The preparation stage, such as reviewing the literature on the NOS aspect and determining the NOS aspect used, namely from the form aspect, including products, processes, attitudes, and from the nature aspect, in the form of empirical, tentative methods, subjective, creative, theoretical and legal, socio-cultural, and scientific; The analysis stage, by analyzing the basic competencies and content in the curriculum and its embodiment in student books. This research was carried out with the following steps: Based on the results of the researchers' agreement, the minimum value limit in the data analysis process is 80%. Based on the results of the analysis, it is shown that the aspects and embodiments of the nature of science and the nature of the science books for fourth grade students are not explicitly e...

The learning process does not only emphasize aspects of remembering knowledge and understanding, but also aspects of application, analysis, evaluation and creativity. This is important because students can train thinking and problem solving as well as the application of concepts in everyday life. Therefore, a model is needed in learning, but in reality teachers are lacking in developing learning models that improve critical thinking and problem solving skills so that learning tends to focus on teacher. This has an impact on the achievement of student learning outcomes. This is evidenced by the number of 33 students only 9 students who succeeded and 24 students have not reached the minimum standard of learning criteria. It is necessary to apply learning that is able to create an active learning atmosphere for students, foster collaboration between students, and train thinking skills so that they can solve problems. The research objectives are to improve critical thinking skills through the use of Problem Based Learning Models, and to improve science learning outcomes for fourth grade students of SDN Inpres Walehunian Sagerat. The method used in this study is a classroom action research method and is designed in two cycles. The results of the study found that (1) through the application of a problem based learning model in science learning the material properties of light can improve critical thinking skills; (2) through the application of the problem based learning model, it can improve the science learning outcomes of students in the SD Inpres Sagerat class. Suggestions for fourth grade teachers can use problem based learning models in science learning, so that learning becomes more fun and meaningful and students are expected to always be active, creative, think critically, work together in groups and respect each other.
