The Kentucky Worksite Assessment aimed to evaluate the state of worksite health promotion programs in Kentucky, following recommendations from a Health Impact Assessment. The study identified the number and functionality of these programs, assessed the health needs within Kentucky worksites, and provided foundational data for enhancing health promotion initiatives. The assessment involved a survey sent to 1,200 randomly selected businesses, analyzing the data to uncover trends and factors contributing to workplace chronic diseases.
