We screened a total of 4769 papers from 108 journals (240 issues) from 16 June to 18 August 2005. 120 papers were selected for full text appraisal; of these papers, 54 RCTs and 9 systematic reviews met quality criteria. We selected 3 of these papers to summarise for this issue.
