Implemented Clean and Healthy Behavior Activities in the Aftermath of the COVID-19 Pandemic, Cerukcuk Village, Tanara District

Clean and Healthy Living Behavior (PHBS) is a step that needs to be done in order to create good health in the community and in the school environment. The purpose of this PHBS activity is to increase public awareness to better understand their living conditions to maintain health. With this outreach, people are able to apply a clean lifestyle in their daily life. As an educated student, by applying the third point of the tri dharma of higher education, namely self-service to the community, it must be able to reflect a clean and healthy lifestyle so that people are more aware and sensitive to it. Community service activities are carried out on Saturday and Monday, January 22-24 2022 at SDN Cerukcuk and SDN Cikeli by conducting socialization about clean and healthy living behavior (PHBS) and practicing proper hand washing and toothbrushing procedures for elementary school children into a program which can improve public health.

The Covid-19 pandemic situation has disrupted activities. Corona virus can spread quickly to anyone and can cause death. Therefore, health is an important aspect to pay attention to at this time. Changes in lifestyle and modernization have caused a shift in the pattern of diseases from communicable to non-communicable diseases (NCD). The NCD category includes diabetes, hypertension, obesity, coronary heart disease. Non-communicable diseases are a challenge during the Covid-19 pandemic because they are comorbid, which will aggravate the disease. Therefore it is necessary to educate on a healthy lifestyle to avoid these new infectious diseases. The method was carried out through webinars with the topic of an active lifestyle, teachings on faith and introduction to herbs to PKK cadres (Family Welfare Empowerment-FWE) in Ciseeng village. The metabolic health characteristics have normal values of 0%, 26%, 100%, 74% for waist circumference (WC), body mass index (BMI), systolic and diastolic blood pressure, respectively. Knowledge of healthy lifestyle from the webinar increased from 51.30% to 85.96% (p <0.05). The conclusion is that the metabolic health of respondents is considered at risk, while webinar activities reduce the risk of comorbidities.

DESCRIPTION OF COVID-19 PREVENTION IN COMMUNITY

Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) is a new type of disease that has not been previously discovered in humans. According to the World Held Organization (WHO), so far the prevention methods that can be done by the community against Covid-19 so as not to be infected are washing hands with soap, physical distancing, and wearing masks. The purpose of this study was to describe the prevention of Covid-19 in the community in Buakg Village, Bungaya District, Gowa Regency. This type of research is descriptive. The population in this study is the productive age group of 1,024 people with a sample of 97 people taken by accidental sampling technique. The instrument in the study used a google form questionnaire. The results of this study indicate that of the 10 questions on hand washing with soap, 97 respondents answered yes to the most (100.0%), the most respondents answered no to 76 respondents (78.4%). Of the 5 questions about keeping a distance, the respondents who answered yes the most were 96 respondents (99.0%), the respondents who answered the most were no as many as 45 respondents (46.4%). Of the 10 questions about wearing masks, the respondents who answered yes the most were 96 respondents (99.0%), the respondents who answered no the most were 94 respondents (96.9%). The conclusion of this research is that in the prevention of Covid-19 in the community, it is not yet fully implemented and complied with the Health protocol. It is recommended to the community to maintain and even improve, carry out Health protocols.

Coronaviruses are a large family of viruses that cause illness ranging from mild to severe symptoms. There are at least two types of coronavirus that are known to cause diseases that can cause severe symptoms such as Middle East Respiratory Syndrome (MERS) and Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS). Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) is a new type of disease that has never been previously identified in humans. The virus that causes COVID-19 is called SarsCoV-2. Corona viruses are zoonotic (transmitted between animals and humans). Research states that SARS is transmitted from civet cats to humans and MERS from camels to humans. Meanwhile, the animal that is the source of transmission of COVID19 is still unknown (Ministry of Health, 2020). Based on scientific evidence, COVID-19 can be transmitted from human to human through droplets, not through the air. People who are most at risk of contracting this disease are people who have close contact with COVID-19 patients, including those who treat COVID-19 patients. Standard recommendations for preventing the spread of infection are regular hand washing with soap and clean water, practicing coughing and sneezing, avoiding direct contact with livestock and wild animals and avoiding close contact with anyone showing symptoms of respiratory illness such as coughing and sneezing. In addition, implementing Infection Prevention and Control (PPI) while in health facilities, especially emergency units (Ministry of Health, 2020). The purpose of this activity is to increase student knowledge regarding efforts to prevent the spread of Corona Virus 2019 (COVID-19) infection so that students are ready to face and prevent the spread of this disease. The implementation method consists of the preparation, implementation, monitoring and evaluation stages. Participants are the general public and students. Stages Starting from the activity of preparing permits for the head of STIKes and the Deputy Chairperson and the LPPM to get permission to socialize health to students. At the implementation stage, this community service activity was carried out daring with a zoom meeting by providing counseling regarding efforts to prevent the spread of Corona Virus 2019 (COVID-19) infection. The monitoring and evaluation phase of activities using the postest method is to determine the increase in the level of student knowledge after health education is carried out by directing students to fill out a google form media questionnaire about the 2019 Corona Virus infection disease (COVID-19). Almost all participants were able to attend extension events very well. During counseling, participants are very active in asking the speakers regarding the material that has been delivered. All Participants seemed enthusiastic about participating in outreach activities and asked a lot about information related to the 2019 Corona Virus (Covid-19) infectious disease. Based on the results of the service activities that have been carried out, the team conducted an evaluation by asking for feedback from the recipients through distributing questionnaires with the results that 98.51% of participants understood and knew more about how to prevent the spread of the Covid-19 disease.

Even though the new normal has been implemented in several areas, it does not mean the community is free from Covid-19. The purpose of this community service is to provide direction and counseling to prevent Covid-19 in the new normal era. The implementation of community service was carried out at MTs Idzhaatul-Haq in Ancol village by directly giving material containing information about covid-19 and new normal directives, distributing masks, and handsanitizers to the students. From the implementation of this community service, masks and handsanitizers have been given which are directly used by the students.
