Publicada por primera vez en la revista Hispania (Volumen 100, Número 1, Marzo de 2017, Páginas 3-15), como “Hispania Special Feature” de ese número e introducido por Sheri Spain Long (Editora de la revista) en estos términos: “To help us launch Hispania’s anniversary year, I invited esteemed colleague and AATSP member Dr. Eduardo Lolo (eduardololo.com) to publish his engaging address from the General Opening Session of the 98th Annual Conference of the AATSP in Miami, Florida.
