(ii) Adult Education, (iii) Vocational Education, (iv) University and Higher Education and (v) Technical Education With India's economic growth having taken a severe beating during the last ten years and with a new Central Government in Delhi there is every reason to be ebullient about both inclusive developmental growth and good governance. Under this new environment, the paper sets out arguments as to why E-Learning is the future of Education in India highlighting its need and importance and how it will be a game changer in the field of education in the near future. The paper also puts forth the premise that with the growth of a young population interested in education, successful e-learning models can be developed which will both complement and supplement the present system.
