Subject review In order to see the role of industrial robot in a manufacturing process and to see which manufacturing processes have the highest industrial robot application, industrial robot application in Asia/Australia has been analysed. Automation and modernization of a manufacturing process in any industrial branch is impossible without industrial robot application. In Asia, it has been known for years, and this paper will prove it. Annual and total industrial robot application has been analysed in the following manufacturing processes: handling material operations, welding, assembly, processing, dispensing and the other/ undefined, where robots could not be classified in the manufacturing process. Industrial robot application of the leading Asian countries has been analysed, those with the developed industry and others with industry in the developing stages, where the automation and modernization of the manufacturing process is performed. This paper provides a comparative analysis of the industrial robot application in the last three years, at the annual level and the total number (operational stock) of the industrial robot applications. The percentage reference is given of the industrial robot applications in different industrial branches in 2010. It also provides the prediction analysis of the industrial robot applications in the following period till 2014.

THE APPLICATION OF ROBOTIC AUTOMATION IN INDUSTRIES
This paper introduces robots and how they can be applied in industries especially in spot welding operations. A robot simulator is used called mobotsim to demonstrate how robots find its target for execution of tasks. This simulator is an open-source software. Another simulator is used here called KUKA simulator which is a 3D teaching demo, illustrating spot welding operation. A survey was taken in this paper to sample different people’s opinion on robotic automation in industries and its feasibility. Growth of robots over the world was also analyzed; this shows robot installations in industries all around the world. The future of robots is also explored in this paper.

How Can Humans adapt to a Life with Robots with ease? All historical events have briefed humans that the new technologies come along, most people are slow to adapt, taking time to become familiar and comfortable with the new tools and their impacts and applications. The problem that arises with AI and robotics is that these resources are growing exponentially, making it all much more important to discuss their impact and evolutionary needs now. Are we prepared to adapt for a future in which we live and work with robots regularly? While there is no absolute, perfect answer to this question, one very important thing to keep in mind is that the purpose of robotic aides is to improve our lives in a measurable way. We need more education and conversation about the roles of robots in our society. We must address issues like how their roles will evolve as they become more popular and lifelike, what their relationships will be to humans, and how the roles of humans may change as a result. We must engage in these forums where these points could be sorted out. If we are not properly prepared in advance, then a sudden influx of these robots could lead to social unrest, including a lot of confusion. Can we wait till the time these BOTS are in market and in our daily lives, yes if we are ignorant about it now. International laws and restrictions can play a key role in how robots are created and used within the next few years and these laws can prohibit people from causing harm as well in a more meaningful way that human could understand. This paper will talk about how the Robots are changing our day to day lives and how Supply Chain is impacted with the induction of Robotics and the areas where Robots have played a huge role and in future what are the aspects of Robots.

Technological success implies technical solution improvement in automation domain of technological process and intelligent system application in different branches of industry, along with a metal industry. A huge number of robot applications exist today in metalworking industry. Their application is motivated with the technical and economical reasons like: quality improvement of the completed products (machine processing and other), fallout decrease (in the assembly process), rate enlargement of the homogeneity-constancy quality (in all process linked to robot application repeatability), security operation rate enlargement (in aggressive, burning, explosive and other areas, with the high rate of robot protection), decrease of necessary work force of routine and repeatability process, manufacture cost minimizing and overall maintenance, fulfilling of demands required by a competition and more rigorous quality standards. Besides the technical advantages, which is carried out owing to the robot application, it is necessary to emphasize that rationality of the robot application in particular operations is principally conditioned with the manufacturing volume and the operation character which the robot (or more robots) needs to carry out. This paper provides an analysis of the industrial robot applications in metal industry worldwide, with a detailed analysis according to years and manufacturing process. The analysis has been carried out on all four continents: Europe, Asia, America and Africa. The parallel analysis with the other industries has been given in addition to analysis of economic justification of robot application in manufacturing process. The results of this research show increasing robot application in metal industry and in other industries, which was a primary goal of this research. By using available data concerning installed robots worldwide, such as analyzing profitability and economic justification of robot implementation in manufacturing process, and as a result of this research, the trend of robot application in metal industry has increasing trend today.

Industrial robots are used in more advanced automation to effectuate manufacturing with far greater speed, efficiency, safety, guaranteed consistency, and reliability than human processing. Countries that employ automation technologies are leaders in industrial manufacturing and contributions to economy. Developing countries like the ones in Africa are seen to hardly use automation technologies in industrial processing. Nigeria is the largest economy in Africa but her industrial base and development is very low. Many industries in Nigeria and other less developed economies face challenges in transitioning to application of automation technologies due mainly to either lack of awareness, costs, and shortage of manning personnel. Industries noted or suspected to be employing robotic technology in Nigeria were visited or contacted to know the realities. Findings indicated that only few Nigerian industries especially breweries employ robots in manufacturing in the country. Detailed survey of Nigerian Breweries factory in Kaduna metropolis as a notable manufacturing outfit employing industrial robots in Nigeria was conducted. The survey indicated that three robots named the packer, unpacker, and palletizer are employed at the company for removing, arranging, and placing about 25,000 empty glass bottles per hour either from or into crates on beer production lines before and after the bottles are washed or treated. These activities which can also be done manually were estimated to require more than 100 dedicated workers to accomplish every workday at the company. It was also evidential that the robots had greatly being contributing to productivity, quality, safety, and timely delivery of the factory products to customers with greater sale and profitability profile of the Breweries Company. The survey is intended to practically substantiate the technological option of employing robots to boost industrial manufacturing profiles and returns and contributions to economy in less developed countries.
